He has surpassed John Cena. I attended WrestleMania and Raw the next night and it's plain as day to see, Lesnar is the most 'must see' man in the entire world. I appreciated him more after watching him live. He is so legitimate that he makes wrestling more believable and less cartoon-y. Brock Lesnar is the MAN. He's the top dog and instead of people waiting for Reigns or anyone else to step up, realise it's happened before your very eyes that Lesnar is the No.1 guy in the business, merchandise sales or not, doesn't matter.
Brock brings an aura about him, I don't care what people say about Hogan, Cena Reigns, any of those "Aura" guys, Lesnar brings something that's impossible to define but you can feel.

It is seriousness. He has an air of seriousness about him. When he says he is going to do something he is going to do it. He is like the guy you meet who is very capable at whatever. Fighting, cars, building......whatever it is. And you know him and he knows you and you are cool. But when he is doing what he does you make a joke about it. Not to insult it, but a joke, something you see funny. And he gives you that dead pan look like you are crazy, he know what you are saying is crazy but he cannot see the joke, he just thinks you are serious because he could never joke about what he is doing, your nuts because he cannot even comprehend someone would see it the way you just did. So you just shut up and he goes back to what he was doing. He does not judge you for what you said, he is still your bro but he is serious about what he does.
Even though Brock has less than great mic skills he looks serious. Fandango or Stardust would look, and I am sure feel, silly in the ring with him.
Lesnar is physically the perfect build for a professional wrestler. He has the greatest combination of strength, agility and athleticism. Right now, I just can't buy anyone on the current roster beating him. His only weakness is his mic skills, and in the ring, that shit doesn't even matter. When his music hits, you know shit is going down and there is an aura around him of a pure unstoppable force. Seeing him manhandle Reigns like a damn cruiserweight just proves he is just in a completely different league above everyone else.

Brock's just a beast, he would be the type of guy that could walk into the room, point at me and say "You're with me now." And I'd just be like.."Um.. okay? Can I at least get my stuff?"
Brock is awesome, but I think the point people make when they say it was a terrible decision is they could have and should have used that rub on an up and comer like Bray Wyatt or Reigns.
Brock is already a beast, he didn't need to beat Taker to prove that.
He's like a mythical beast now that comes out once a while and wrecks everything around him and once he's gone, his legend grows and people whisper tales of him to their friends and everyone claims to have seen him even if they haven't.
Like a dragon that comes out of his lair to burn down an entire village. Like the Kraken in the oceans.
Brock really embodies larger than life probably more than any athlete alive. The atmosphere changes when he comes through the curtain.
On Raw when he made his way back after killing everyone and the crowd was chanting "Lesnar Lesnar", that must have been how the Romans felt watching their champion gladiator walk off after destroying his opponents :mj2 It was beautiful :banderas
Brock Lesnar has that bigger than life aura of a true pro wrestler that hasn't been felt in over a decade. His presence transcends beyond the TV screen. The man is a genuine fucking draw. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be paying attention to the WWE product anymore since I'm not into NXT or any of that shit.
Brock Lesnar truly did bring legitimacy to the WWE when he came back. He's always going to be a presence as long as Heyman is his mouthpiece, even when you know he won't appear for multiple months in a row.
But, the thing that sent him over the top? The ESPN Sportscenter interview.
That segment proved a couple of things to the fans:
1. He's serious about pro-wrestling. He signed a multi-year contract and seems excited to be a part of it.
2. He's not some mercenary. He genuinely seems like an honest, hard-worker who busts his ass when he gets in the ring. The proof is in his matches - every single time he's been in the ring, it's must-see. Even when he had that trilogy with HHH or that throwaway match with Big Show at Royal Rumble, he has always been a must-see guy.
That match with Reigns was really damn good, and the ending did nothing to match Brock look bad. In fact, if anything, it made him look just as strong without taking anything away from him.
I'm really looking forward to his next appearance. I remember seeing him live at the infamous "Punk-less" Chicago show last year, and it was INSANE. Brock has been and always will be the real deal.
To fucking right he's the man, the aura that accompanies this guy is just unprecedented, I can't quite describe it but its something that I only ever notice with him and the Undertaker. He's an incredible human, when he's in the ring I completely forget its a scripted show, he's just so legit.
Its a spectacle every time he's in the ring, and part time or not I fucking love that he doesn't fight for free. Heyman nailed it the other night talking about him fighting on Raw for the first time in years, I genuinely feel like I should pay to watch him.
If this company had anything about them they should be throwing buckets of cash at Brock Lesnarto make him more of a regular, he doesn't need to be full time no, but double his dates, get him on a few more PPV's. Keep him face like he is now (they'll never turn him into a Cena style face - he just won't do it) keep him with Lesnar calling it how it is and killing everyone.
Even as a massive Bryan fan, I say this, have him chase that title till summerslam and end the authority, let him dominate for the next year - its the closest thing we have to Austin.
Not to take anything away from his amazing talent, but Lesnar's powerful aura is in no small part due to the sparsity of his appearances, and the fact that he doesn't lose anymore. If they had Lesnar on TV every week his aura would begin to disappear.
The way WWE have handled Lesnar's contract situation has completely rejuvenated him. Playing it up on TV, all the little insider comments from Heyman and then the big reveal on ESPN just days before Wrestlemania...what a stroke of marketing genius. Lesnar lost his title by cash in and has come out the other end even hotter than he was before. It's brilliant and he's white hot right now, dare I say even hotter than when he first came back.
The truth is, he was starting to feel the effects of diminishing returns big time after the Punk match in 2013. But he broke the streak, raped Cena and since has sort of been teetering on the edge so to speak. But this past week has catapulted him into another dimension imo. He's white hot right now and it's just a shame he's not going to be around for the next few months. I only hope it's still there when he shows up again to work his next program.
Yup, whenever Brock shows up to fight you get goosebumps, I only remember getting that as a kid when watching WWE, but when he performs it's kinda like watching a big Great White Shark circling around a bleeding Seal.
If he could talk, he'd be the best wrestler in the world. It's a shame. Watching him ragdoll people is way more fun than the other garbage they're doing right now.
No one wants to admit this (for obvious reasons) but the match between Brock and Reigns at WM 31 was one of the most realistic and hard hitting matches ever in WWE history. I had friends over who don't normally watch WWE and they said the match was legit. So I agree that Brock brought legitimacy to the WWE.
Of course that geek RL Stern had to ruin the thread with his "facts" about who does or does not draw :ti. Anyways, Brock is the only reason why I even pay some attention to the WWE. I won't be watching Raw til he's back. He's the only interesting thing going imo.
It's a fucking disgrace to be honest that he tuns up so little.
He's being paid millions. He should be showing up EVERY week.
He claims he doesn't like the travel, well fine Brock, nobody is asking you to do the house shows or tours etc etc. But seriously, one show a week is too much? Literally fly in the morning of the show and leave the night of it and on a private plane no less.
He should be there IMO at least two RAWs a month. I enjoy him when he is there but turning up once every 2 or 3 months sucks.
