It wasn't promoted as a No Holds Barred match or anything. The referee saw the Sweet Chin Music.
WTF?

It did say in the introductions the only way to win was by pin or submission. But as far as I'm aware it was not actually announced as a no DQ match prior to this

Apparently it was a No DQ as i heard the announcers screaming ''Remember it's no DQ'' :cole

My first thought was ''What the fuck do you mean by remember? You never told me in the first place you fucking idiot''.

Anyways the whole thing was a clusterfuck but an enjoyable one.

Anyone complaining about the result is just being too much of a mark. Sting is probably finished anyway and HHH is sticking around to brag about how he beat him.

I called it long before it happened. They were just shining up Sting in the build up.

It was WCW vs WWF and HHH KO'ing Sting with the sledgehammer was symbolic of WWE winning the War after WCW being on top for so long during it.

That was the story of this match. People need to realize this. I've said for years Sting/Taker is an internet pipe dream. It is not on WWE's radar.
