Is no one else furious that Rusev lost?

For me that was the worst booking of the night. What did it accomplish? Did Cena seriously need that win?

I still don't get this narrative that Reigns beating Rusev would have been huge. I guess you think Punk beating Ryback a few years back was bad too?

You are the same fans that want Bryan in the main event because 'he deserve it' yet the same ones that shit on Cena for winning matches as if he needs to job in every feud.

This younger/untapped potential > everything else thinking is crazy. Does that mean if the next fresher guy get the baton, he has to lose after 3 years on the main roster or it will be 'bad booking' all over again?

How could I forget Rusev losing fpalm

It wasn't as bad as the other losses tonight but still pretty awful

It was inevitable once they showed that American history video promo before Cena's entrance.

A Rusev win last night would have made WWE looked fucked up.

They showed the World Trade Center 9/11, MLK, JFK, they were going on all the emotional historical events to let the audience know SUPER CENA was activated.

I'm just surprised that John Cena didn't come out to the ring being flown in from a Apache helicopter to counter Rusev coming in on a tank.

Ehh. Wasn't exactly clean. I'll call that distraction finisher and it's not like he was laid out for ages, he got up and went nuts.

All of the booking in the card other than the main event was terrible. Every singe time it was the old over the new other than Bryan, the most over wrestler in the world before they buried him, being locked in the midcard , and the admittedly amazing main event. But don't forget that even the guy who came out on top of that, Seth Rollins, had to practically cheat and not take any damage at all, and already lost earlier on the card, so even the WWE champ isn't safe from WWE's terrible booking.

No because it was the most obvious thing of the night.

Plus tbh, without Lana I don't really give that much of a shit about Rusev.

I personally would of liked it better if rusev beat cena. More than that I think their first match should of been at wrestlemania. Rusev losing does not kill him off, thank god he did not tap out to the stfu. But him losing takes away a bit of the shine. I would of rather he stayed unbeaten until he gets in there with Reigns or Lesnar.

Would've made alot more sense if Reigns had just beaten Rusev instead of being in the World title match. But of course we know WWE and sense are two words that should never be used in the same sentence.

What? Was he supposed to keep winning forever?

He needed to fucking lose. And the feud is going to continue and it has to be more about a damn streak. Now it's extremely personal. It's about national identity yes. But Rusev took a chunk of Cena's personal pride and in return, Cena took his streak and maybe cost him his manager.

Now a performer worth a damn will take this material and make it gold. We're going to find out if Rusev is worth a damn or if he was just another predictable monster heel with nothing but a streak.
