Every WWE legend (Austin, Rock, Cena, Savage, Warrior, Hart, HBK, HHH, Punk, Orton, Jericho, Eddie, Benoit, Rey, etc.)
Won a singles title before winning the big one. Except Roman. In 3 weeks he'll be the first top guy/franchise player since Taker beating Hogan in '91 to accomplish this.
And people say he's not being pushed hard? Even the golden boy was a 3-time US Champ :cena4
OP, your first post on this forum was full of factual inaccuracies. Wherever you got that info was just flat out wrong. Hope your second one is more propitious.
This wouldn't be breaking Hogan and Taker's record, though. This would be tying it with a little asterisk since he was a tag team champion before winning it.
How the hell are Sheamus, Del Rio, Big Show and Diesel legends/faces of the company? Is Lesnar really a legend? More like main-eventers at one point, not legends.
The last legend to win the big one before winning a singles title is Taker in '91.
Reigns and the word legend in the same sentence sent a shiver down my spine.
Everyone knows he is being fast tracked to the top way too soon. As much as i diss Reigns it's not his fault he's being picked when he's not ready, that's all on Vince. Reigns has the look and could potentially end up ready by why push someone on if's buts and maybes? It's ridiculous. If they end up with another failed main eventer like ADR and Sheamus then they only have themselves to blame.
While not an actual Title per say, Lesnar did win King of the Ring before becoming Champion. I suppose that would be equivalent to Reigns winning the Rumble.
Nope. A little research next time before presuming something.
