Regarding the issue that led to Brock Lesnar walking out of Raw this week, the latest Observer Newsletter notes that it was related to negotiations of his new contract with WWE. Apparently it's something that could be settled easily but "neither side wants to be the one to back down."

According to the Observer, Stephanie McMahon was "furious" over AJ Lee's tweets and her response to them was ordered by Vince McMahon.

So it looks like Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler will work together at WrestleMania 31 after all only it will be with Bad News Barrett and Dean Ambrose in a multi-man match for the Intercontinental title. R-Truth could also be involved and it could be a ladder match, replacing the Money in the Bank match that has been missing from WrestleMania for years now.

According to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal the city is planning to fight for WrestleMania 33 in 2017. Philadelphia and Orlando are also rumored to be in the mix for that show.

Jeff Jarrett is apparently hoping to announce the first Global Force Wrestling show within the next month.

John Cena vs. Rusev is expected to be a gimmick match for the WWE United States Championship at Wrestlemania 31.

This stems more from the fact that they have no plans for anyone that isn't a part timer, John Cena or Roman Reigns. This is just cramming guys into a match so you don't have to properly book them in matches with any kind of meaningful depth or logic. WWE don't give a shit about the intercontinental title and haven't done since the 90s. It's the same with the U.S. championship; Rusev just happens to be holding it while coincidentally facing John Cena because taking the title off Rusev before Mania will mar his momentum.

They're not planning on elevating either championship regardless of match quality.

I really love how for years people have complained about the IC Title and US Title not being made to look important enough. Well guess what guys, this year at WM 2 of the biggest babyfaces of the company, John Cena and maybe Bryan will be fighting for them and might even win them.
I agree that WWE is probably putting Daniel in that IC Title match because they have no idea what to do with him, but still, this will actually put him in a match that can deliver big time and it might also help a midcard title.

Also on the wm33 location note. I hav no fuckin clue why Indianapolis never bids on a wrestlemania. Lucas Oil Stadium is such a nice big stadium having a wreatlemania would b awesome. Still amazes me wwe has never though of going there.

Cena's FAR above the US title yet it's very likely he's walking out of Mania as champ.

Just because Bryan's not in the main event doesn't mean his match will suck. I'd take a multi-man ladder match at Mania for a title anyday though I prefer MITB on the line.

The Cena Rusev match has actually had build up and has heat behind it.

This is just a spotfest to get people on a card.

This has nothing to with if the match will suck, that's not the issue here. Bryan is the most over guy in the wwe and he is being crammed into a nothing match just to get him on the card.

Just disrespectful.

What a lot of spot monkey behaviour and Guys throwing themselves through ladders over a actually proper wrestling match. The Most over guy on the roster having to fight for a nothing title. Plus these guys saying Bryan's neck is too bad to face Lesnar now saying it's a good match to have him in a ladder match. Give me the Sheamus match anyday, either way Bryan is getting screwed.

inb4 someone pulls up the Austin vs. Hall match

Difference is, when it pertained to the Hogan WM X-8 match, Austin was the very first one they offered the match to but he turned it down and then, he was booked to face one of the representatives of one of the most recognizable factions in wrestling history in a major angle.

Well if this is true then it could at least be a good match but it really is a huge step down for Bryan.

I don't think he's going over. I think Ambrose is which I'm fine with but yea hard not to admit now that the guy isn't getting shafted this year if this turns out to be true.

I'm going to guess then that Sheamus will return and enter the Andre battle royal and win that and they will push him instead of Ryback after Mania fpalm

Completely ignoring the momentum and crowd support the guy has been building up all on his own merit. He's certainly never been fucking helped by his booking.

Disheartening news to be honest.

I expected a Bryan/Sheamus singles match and Ryback to go over in the battle royal.

Sure i am a fan of Ryback but i also think it's the right decision. They have never booked him consistently.

I also think Bryan more than deserves his own singles match and Sheamus needs to go heel so at least it wold have made some sense and i'm sure those two could have put on a hell of a brawl.

Ah well WWE You disappoint me once again it would seem. :lol

As a Daniel Bryan fan I am happy about this ladder match. It could be MOTN and maybe match of the year

If match is given enough time this could be the most exciting thing on the card lol...

But I am not opposed to Cena winning the U.S. title or bryan/ambrose winning the IC title.

Those titles used to be very prestigious and having guys of their caliber hold them for a significant amount of time may help make that title mean more than a stepping stone.

But they need to be careful, it would be cool if people didn't look at those titles as a bad thing. If they can raise the prestige of them titles then awesome!

Funny how you guys complain about the IC Title not being worth anything anymore, but when there is a chance of actually making it important, you complain.
I'm all for Bryan winning the IC Title and Cena winning the US Title. Then a heel Ambrose could challenge Bryan, and someone like Cesaro to challenge Cena. Over time you could throw guys like Ryback and Sheamus into that mix.
Just keep rotating, don't keep the same guys fighting for the same title over and over again.

Still gotta find sheamus someone to face, the vignettes etc they are doing, they are making out his return to be a big deal, so there's no way he won't be on the card.
In which case, who would you have Sheamus face if the five way goes ahead?

Hoping Minnesota gets WM33. It'd cost me so much less money and wouldn't have to travel far.

As much as I don't like the idea of Bryan being looked upon as beneath the world title, which he certainly isn't, him as IC champion could be the shot in the arm that title needs to reconnect again. If anyone is capable of elevating that title, it's Bryan; Rather than him lowering himself to the level of the current Intercontinental Champion, perhaps Daniel Bryan could look to elevate it up to the level he is.

A multi man ladder match opening Wrestlemania is fine with me, and I'd look forward to it. R Truth is a curve ball though. Him in the match actually lessens it, for me; Bryan, Ziggler and Ambrose have each been amongst the most over on the roster at certain points of the last year, and each can elevate the belt, and Barrett, as champion, fits in the match - R Truth though? How random is that? I can think of probably 5 others who would deserve to be in that match more than him, and 20 or so equally deserving. Strange.

Sooner GFW starts now, the better. Any stalling would hurt it now, imo, and I can't wait to see it and if it's strong, it's a great time for wrestling.

Surprised AJ's comments were a shoot - Not really wise to call out the boss like that. If it is indeed AJ going on her own, it's a bit of an "I don't really give a shit anymore" statement.

Cena VS Rusev in a flag match?
