This list makes no sense. Are they talking about guys who came in and wrestled one match (LT)? Or are they talking about guys who made actual careers in the wrestling business (Goldberg)? Because there's quite a difference between the two.
This list is a total fail because Wahoo McDaniel was not on the list and in all reality he should be #1 on the list because he was an actual wrestling legend who also excelled in pro football.
They must of just missed him because him and Ernie fall under the same category. They were both AFL football players who retired after the 68 season. So they would have been apart of the NFL AFL merger for 2 years and both should of been included.
It's obvious they're referring to the NFL only based off the team names so guys like Rock, Simmons, Reigns wouldn't qualify. That being said Wahoo McDaniel could be on the list since he played in the AFL from 67-68 which was after the NFL-AFL merger. It wasn't until 1970 when they officially merged into one league with 2 conferences.
The majority of those guys didn't fail at it. It's why they could walk in and beat your heroes like it was nothing. It's why this list is pretty stupid though. Over half of them are just NFL guys who desperately needed a paycheck for a month not guys who tried to make a legit career at it.
I had a feeling that Goldberg would have a great number but damn number 1.
Monty Brown could of been something if it wasn't for his personal life. I respect and still pray for his family.
Still pisses me off that LT beat Bam Bam Bigelow. But what can you say on having one of the worst WM ever.
Brian Pillman god rest his soul, I still miss him to this day.
