Would Evolution put over Daniel Bryan and The shield if punk never quit?

If CM Punk didn't walk out, then Evolution would not have put over Daniel Bryan or The Shield

If CM Punk didn't walk out, that means his match with HHH will go as planned, and Daniel Bryan will face Sheamus, leaving Orton vs Batista. this means that Batista stays face.

If batista stays face, then its unlikely that he will turn heel in the middle of his title reign, which means that evolution would have never formed, which means that they would never put over the shield. Shield-evolution feud was great and it put over the shield big time, it was the biggest storyline of their career as a stable, and by far their biggest victories of all time (winning 2 in a row against one of the greatest factions is mighty impressive).

This was all thanks to CM Punk, who changed the entire course of WWE. and people say he didnt make an impact by walking out :surprise:

This is true, WWE wanted to force Batista/Orton & Punk/Triple H when fans didn't want it, they wanted Daniel Bryan/Orton/Batista and Bryan/Triple H.

Which we got, thankfully CM Punk quit, as before that he was burying people left and right, beating the entire Shield at TLC 2013, burying Ryback & Axel.

CM Punk was a cancer to the future, just like Roman Reigns Rumble win is a cancer to the current product.

Also, your signature: Hell In a Cell 2012 was drawn by Ryback, not by CM Punk, people wanted to see Punk lose the title, they wanted Ryback to win.

Also keep in mind that if Batista stayed face, that means Evolution wouldn't haev formed. If evolution never formed, then who would put over the shield and catapult Rollins to main event status? Its all thanks to Punk that this happened. Many people seem to be overlooking this

I will only say "No" for one reason: If Punk did stay, he would've left when his contract was up, thus splitting the audience up until that time.

Punk was almost as over as Bryan was. It was very close for a while there; it just depended on the city they were in.

You are also talking about a lot of other factors too.

I dare say, if Punk wouldn't have quit right after the Rumble, the following factors probably would've happened:

1. Punk would've been added to the main event. Period. Somehow, some way, he would've gotten his way into that main event between Batista and Orton, thus cutting Bryan out of the way.

2. Batista may never had turn full-blown heel. He may have been the 'tweener in the match if Punk, who was an extremely over baby face at the time, would've been in.

3. The Evolution storyline may not have happened until much later. Nor would the 100% pure face turn of the Shield. If anything, the Wyatts vs. the Shield may have been a big feud.

4. Bryan would've been stuck in upper-mid card hell. Punk leaving was a huge factor in why Bryan, who became the adults/smarks' guy, became a force in the WWE.

But, it is crazy to think about how much fluctuated between Punk leaving and the rise of Bryan, Rollins, Reigns, and Ambrose and the hi-jacking of Batista and the original main event plan at Wrestlemania 30. CM Punk leaving truly was the tipping point for all of this in a lot of ways.

Punk leaving was the catalyst for EVERYTHING thats happened regarding Evolution/Shield/Bryan this last year.

The entire landscape would be different if Punk had remained until July 17th, 2014(when his contract ran out), if he had not been fired prior, or if he just happened to stick around by choice and renew.

Punk back then was about as big as Bryan with the fans. Obviously not now, Bryan has far transcended what Punk did, but man, those days were something else.

Punk would've probably died from MRSA.

A Tribute Show would be done to him, and then Daniel Bryan would have received a Rey Mysterio treatment. Wins the title at Mania only to be poorly booked.

Good God, that would be awful.

Honestly, he really didn't change much.

Batista would've still turned heel right after the Rumble, Punk would've gone against Triple H as planned at WM, and Bryan would've still become champion in a triple threat with Randy Orton and Batista.

Bryan had to fill in for Punk against Triple H, that's all that became different, about Wrestlemania at least.

The only direct impact Punk's departure had was Cesaro's big push following it to keep people watching who might otherwise have left. There's a lot of crossover between the Punk and Cesaro fanbases and they wanted to make sure they didn't lose them.

The rest is indirect butterfly effect bullshit that serves only to aggrandise CM Punk. Maybe if Muhammad Hassan hadn't left there wouldn't have been a spot on the roster for Bryan to take. Maybe if Daniel Puder had joined WWE he'd have made the plucky grappler role his own and Bryan would have had to stay as a comedy character. There's no possible way of knowing and no reason to care either.
