I mean let's face it the Reigns winning the Royal Rumble clearing pissed off the majority of fans, people just literally shit on him the entire time he entered the Royal Rumble match as more or less everyone knew he was obviously going to win the match. If fans were booing him out of the building for winning the Royal Rumble match its pretty damn obvious to me that fans will shit on a
Him at Wrestlemania. Lesnar is clearly supposed to be the Heel in the feud between the two but we all know come Mania it will look as if Lesnar will be the Face with the reception Reigns is going to face.
What does anyone else think? Can WWE save Reigns's title reign or is it setup for disaster?
This is the dumbest most ignorant bull shit marks say to protect their fan ego. It's the same reactionary bull shit neo conservatives use to disregard opinions that challenge their fantasy world.
Saying a whole arena not supporting the direction of the product or having cancelWWENetwork be the number one trend world wide = just smarks, must mean smarks are a much larger and important contingency of the fan base than the way you like to brush them off with the derogatory way you use the word.
You can't have it both ways. Either smarks are a trivial minority and not the only ones against WWE's chosen direction, or smark are the overwhelming majority of the audience and should be listened to.
There's the door get the fuck out and don't come back till you get a fucking education you ignorant fuck.
As far as reaction goes, I think he'll be fine. If his character stays in line with what it is now, he will get booed by the same smarks who boo Cena. Majority of arenas it will sound okay because girls will pop for him, and those who don't care for him will kind of just sit there and cause no reaction; so overall the reaction will sound positive, even if it's not.
They could super go out on a limb and turn him heel and align him with Heyman, and then all those bashing him now would all of a sudden be a fan of his again.
It should be an interesting next few months with Reigns, and I'll have my popcorn ready. But honestly, at any given point they can easily abort and have Rollins cash in if they wanted to. But I think it'll just end up being a "it is what it is" for a lot of us, and we should be ready for Reigns vs. Rusev at Extreme Rules.
It will be a disaster regardless of what they do because he is talent wise so far below the main event and it's an insult that he is going to close WM as the champion in his SECOND SINGLES MATCH ON PPV.
Vacant had a better title reign than Reigns could ever have in 2013.
They should just put him in his neon t-shirt and jorts, team him and Cena up to fight the whole rest of the roster in a gauntlet match finished by standing over their beaten bodies grinning like dicks every week and be done with it.
Just spare us the beating around the bush, we all know its coming.
The title reign will probably be a reasonable success if they stick to their guns he'll be an established main eventer in the eyes of a lot of fans. The problem is that they just bought a very hostile mania crowd.
Austin bought that up on his podcast too. Turning him heel won't make him any better. Time in the mid card working with top in ring talent might make him a better worker. But sadly that ain't happening.
When you're in a KNOWN smark town, the audience is NOT going to react like a group of normal people. Hence, those smarks are far in the minority. Which is exactly what was said in the post you quoted.
There's the door. Don't let it hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
When he is the champ, everyone who has been complaining about Brock being a part time champ will miss him.
