Maybe an IC Title match with Barrett. Because unless they suddenly revisit the Ambrose vs Rollins feud (which isn't likely to happen since it's being saved for Orton), I don't see any other rivalry that's available to him. Bray Wyatt? Already been through that. Rusev? Being saved for Cena. HHH? Being saved for Sting. Big Show or Kane? Just lol.
Knowing them, they'll probably throw him in the Andre Memorial Battle Royal. And have him lose. Because they're that retarded.
He won't get anything meaningful, which is a damn shame because in my eyes the guy could be money if booked correctly. Can see him being stuck in a Battle Royal or a 5 minute match with Kane.
I don't like Daniel Bryan, but he's the most over guy in the last few years and he's looking at a mid card match with feckin' Sheamus, so Ambrose fans shouldn't get their hopes up. Unfortunately.
He already had a singles match with Barrett just a couple weeks ago and won, without the IC title on the line. Really the best option is for him to win the battle royal. All the heels worth a damn he's either feuded with or have a match lined up at Mania.
If it was me I'd have him feud with Cena and beat him. They won't though.
Realistically, I wouldn't mind him vs BNB for the IC title. Have him win it, go on a great 6 month run with it, beat some quality guys and then have him drop the title and move into the main event so he can have a major match next mania with a cena or an orton. He's over as hell, so they should take advnatage.
I honestly think he could be this generations Austin. Not as over obviously because Austin is like top 3 over ever, but this gens Austin in terms of that badass anti hero who the crowd love. If he was handles right he could defo be early Cena level over. Over, but not quite Austin level.
Would be nice to see Dean in the title picture (IC and eventually I can see him as a World Champ) he is one of my favorites on the roster right now. I really do hope he doesn't get buried though, the guy is money.
Unfortunately he will probably be stuck in the Andre battle royal. I'm not a huge Ambrose fan, but I like him. But I still feel like he should be in the main event against Lesnar at Mania. He was very hot around October or so, but when you find new ways to have him lose against Rollins and Wyatt without ever winning, he is bound to lose steam. He went from super over to "we'll cheer you since you're a remotely relevant face" over. It's too bad.
In my fantasy booking, he'd be in the main event with Rollins and Reigns. I'm letting that dream go because 50 days isn't enough time to get Ambrose hot enough to warrant slotting him into the main event of Wrestlemania, even if it's a triple threat.
I see him winning the Battle Royal, I just hope there's an added stipulation of the winner gets a shot at the IC champion at the next PPV. I just don't want it to be an empty thing like last year. Even with the fancy ass trophy Cesaro got, the win meant nothing in the long run even if it felt "big" at the time. Shit, give the winner a briefcase and slap the Extreme Rules logo on one side and a nice vector image of Andre on the other or something. Keep it on our mind for the next month after Mania.
Swagger just destroyed Cesaro's trophy the next night on RAW and that was that. Literally, that's the last we heard of that. Being in the Andre shouldn't be a creative wasteland -- it should be a, excuse the pun, giant opportunity for mid-card guys. Ambrose chasing the IC title sounds good enough for me. At least in a world where Ziggler and Daniel Bryan are fighting over it.
Because of Vince's current "genius" booking(sarcasm intended) I see him being another stepping stone in trying to rebuild Sheamus. If I were WWE I would just do Sheamus a favor and send him to TNA or Japan until Global Force opens. His chances of getting over in the WWE are long gone and the fans have pretty much given up on him.
He is bizarro Daniel Bryan. Given too much too soon and shoved down our throats, that despite him being talented, the public chooses not to embrace him. You have to understand Vinnie Mac, today's much evolved educated wrestling enthusiast has more power than ever and cannot be "tricked" into thinking Val Venis deserves a better push than Malenko anymore. If you did that today, they would ask for your head.
