Put in the situation he's in, green as grass with a rocket to the top up your arse and the ire of the IWC and a spotlight fixed on your every move? Because i'm curious, would you guys expect sympathy? Or do you think the kinda hate seen on this forum is justified and correct? Not a hate thread by any means, i'm just really curious.
:draper2
Personally, i would count my money on a bed with Daniel Bryan covers.
LOL this. Though, I'd ask for a manager to do my talking....or plead for more creative control on my interviews. I've been given the torch, ready or not, now you can only try your best to improve where you can and please the fans.
Work on my weakness, ask to be put in a high card feud but not for the title. I wouldn't be a retard and make stupid twitter comments insulting fans. I wouldn't be cocky enough to believe I could go out there green as grass and not get exposed. I'd like to be smart enough to establish a true fanbase before moving forward so I always have people behind me, more so than weird girls on the net. I'd want to be like Austin, work on everything and then prove myself, not fall on my face.
But if you're being granted a spot with 2 months to prepare there's no chance you'd ask to be placed in a spot lower than the main event promised to you. It's like conceding defeat without trying...
If I got into the spot he was in and then snapped into MY train of thought(since I don't know and can't ever know Roman's)-
I'd be like, "well...shit"
I'd talk to a lot of the big wigs, the legends, the boys in the back that have been around a long time(think Cena, Orton, etc etc) and ask them what they'd do, what they think I should do
There'd be duality- Should I go through with it and commit, hoping it works out? Or do I spin this out to buy myself some time?
If I intended to spin it out, I'd probably tell Vince, "I have an idea for a long term storyline. You got to fuck me over this year, and it'll hang over me till I rectify it the next year"
Like, I won the Rumble but lose my shot at Mania, then next year I lose the Rumble and am like NAH, FUCK THAT and switch roles, fighting my way into a Shield Triple Threat
That could work, I might sell them on it
But chances are I'd be told by Vince not to lose my confidence now, I have to stick to my guns and push on towards Mania
Whatever the case, I'd be a mess because I'd be IN a mess.
I would take the money and say to the fans " Lol jealous ?! ". I mean, I wouldn't work hard, I have the top spot, no matter what happens next, you are rich so you might as well enjoy some good times ( and good company )
I would tell Vince: "stop pushing me just because i make you hard, learn your lesson and listen to the crowd, they clearly want Daniel Bryan, if you don't do it i will do a shoot promo and ruin the whole WWE" then i would become the IWC favorite.
Just go all out Cena and try to make the boos a part of the show, don't let it faze him. Try to make some money out of it. He's never going to win the whole crowd over and the way WWE will book him he will make any guy facing him a top face overnight.
I'd beg management to let me add a few more high spots and a few more power moves. He looks weak as fuck and his limited moves make him look even more inexperienced.
Cut the interview time. Short, sweet, to the point and threatening.
Finally I'd ask to steamroll guys for a while. The 10 minutes of selling before the comeback hurts.
No, I don't expect sympathy. I'm not exactly going to ask for a depush either because that's bitchassness of the highest order.
I would probably try to hit up as many legends as possible, see if any of them would spare the time to give pointers, advice etc. Make the performance center my second home to see if I can pick anything up, no matter how basic it might seem. Oh, and an hour on the treadmill every morning, no excuses. Just really try to soak up as much as I possibly can, because if this is what's being expected of me now then I have to do everything in my power to meet that expectation.
Work on my cardio, my craft my in ring ability go to classes and learn how to cut a promo and whats ring pyschology I mean i have been wrestling with Dean Ambrose and Rollins for two years they were in my ear giving me advice in road trips and still was in the development how could I suck so much :reigns and He knew he was going to headline since last year its the worst kept secret he should of been improving I blame him as much as Vince.
Talk the WWE into turning me heel and go full blown heel with my character, b/c in the end that would make me a WAY better face in the long-run down the road.
Complain all you want but I don't believe anyone out there would turn there nose up at being given a push and such an opportunity all this step down for the good of the company is simply ridiculous and getting out of hand as I've said before these smarks who attempt to hijack every show are starting to embarrass the true fans it's bitter and pathetic it almost feels nothing would make you happy your such hypocrites!!
One minute Roman reigns is your hero and the future then in a matter of months he's not good enough I mean really how ignorant!!
Have an opinion but don't slaughter someone who has so much potential and I doubt the company will be going out of business anytime soon no matter how many hissy fits you throw
WWE can only save face right now by having Reigns turn heel. If there will be boo's for Roman going forward, you have got to play off of them. It might actually work. It would be so easy to have him show up and just diss the crowd. It's a storyline that's basically written itself... those end up being the best usually.
Fans have to realize that as opinionated as they are and the way you want it, the company is the same way and they are gonna do what they wanna do...hopefully, at the end of the day, I'm the one getting rich.
