Will WM 31 make Wrestlemania 27 look like WM 17?

This PPV will be pure 100% bull shit. Seriously what goes through peoples' minds that are stupid enough to watch this PPV? Fans should use their heads and not watch it, that way people show Vince their displeasure. The fact that people give in to whatever Vince does actually makes Vince think he is doing a great job.

You need to relax. Was Sunday's Rumble match a disaster? Yes. But for me at least, I wasn't down on Reigns winning, but moreso the fact that it was the worst booked Rumble of all time.

The card is very solid IMO

Reigns/Lesnar
Sting/Triple H
Taker/Wyatt
Cena/Rusev
Rollins/Orton
Sheamus/Bryan

if all those matches are given 20 minutes this is going to be on good Mania I can promise you that... And this is coming from a guy who was never more disgusted with WWE than I was on Sunday while watching that RR match

I'll be quite honest, WrestleMania 27 to me isn't as bad as some make it out to be. It was still pretty bad, but I'd say the majority of the ones from the 90s and WrestleMania 29 were the worst ones. With that said, I don't think 31 will be as bad as 27, because we have the potential to see multiple new stars emerge like Reigns, Seth Rollins, and if we're lucky, Bray Wyatt, and even Daniel Bryan if they turn him heel and get rid of his obnoxious goat gimmick. We need Bryan Danielson back in this.

Yes, only one match has been announced for WM31. That is Bullshit. I will not pay to watch one match, not even 9.99. I mean, what are they thinking? They only have 2 more months to build it up. What are they gonna do, have Reigns and Lesnar wrestle for 3 hours? Fuck this company.

Probably not worse then 27 however worst since 27 when it had the potential to be one of the alltime greats wrestlemania. Bryan/Lesnar. Shield triple threat for a #1 contenders match. Wyatt/Taker. Damn that would of been 3 SWEEEET matches. Instead LIKE usual we'll get the three top matches feauturing 80% parttimers and only reigns and cena will have relevant matches while the rest of the younger guys job in some undercard throwaway match.

Even year WMs tend to be better than the odd year ones for whatever reason. That's tended to be the case ever since the stacked WM XIX card.

20: solid, saved by the two title matches.
21: shit other than MITB and Angle/Michaels.
22: Blew 21 out of the water.
23: solid, not as good as 22.
24: awesome; Taker/Edge, Michaels/Flair, MITB, etc.
25: totally lackluster other than HBK/Taker.
26: not great, still overall better than 25.
27: SHIT.
28: great WM. The best since 24.
29: shit other than Taker/Punk.
30: destroyed 29 completely.
31: looks set to be the worst WM in years. Might be as bad as 27 if nothing drastic happens.

I found Wrestlemania XIX to be unappealing, we had a guy who hadn't been on the main roster for not even a year face Kurt Angle in the main event for the title, Rock and Austin for the 3rd time(this time making no sense, why would Rock be even remotely scared of Austin after Wrestlemania 17?, Austin should be fearing Rock), Undertaker in a lame handicap match, this Wrestlemania also happened during one of the worse era's of all time(Ruthless Aggression era)

I don't understand how you can say WM 20 was solid because it was saved by the two title matches then say 21 was shit yet had two good matches(actually more than 2). both Wrestlemania 20 and 21 were good.

Wrestlemania 21 wasn't shit, Triple H and JBL's reigns of terror was over, Orton/Undertaker, Angle/Michaels, MITB, this is coming from someone who hates that era.

22 and 23 is sour with me because of John Cena retaining the WWE title, he's not Hulk Hogan, I can watch Hogan win the belt multiple years in a row at Wrestlemania, but not Cena.

Wrestlemania 27 was shit, other than Taker/Triple H.

Wrestlemania XXX was the Greatest Wrestlemania of all time, top to bottom, had everything.

I don't care. I'm not watching it unless there is a severe change in plans regarding Bryan, and by that I mean putting him in the title match and that isn't happening so yeah, I'm not watching. It sucks because it's mania but I have no interest in it.

I'm not paying to see the rise and fall of the Roman Empire on the same night, although the fall will be enjoyable.

You guys can't be fucking serious. The PPV is not even booked yet.

It feels like 90% of people on here are negative minded, never see any positives, overreact, and make stupid assumptions .....like about an event that isn't booked yet other than the main even. I'm sure they will have plenty to shit all over regardless if we got a random Rock vs. Austin or Austin vs. Hogan match on this card.

I know I am new to the forum, but does anyone else get sick of the "I WILL NOT WATCH" crybaby posts all the time?....We are all on this roller coaster together as WWE fans....The product sucks, but realistically there isn't much we can do....Enjoy what you can enjoy, and forget what you cant....Not that difficult....

There were a lot more problems with Wrestlemania 27 other than the quality of the matches (although the main event was crap and the Lawler/Cole match is my pick for the worst match in Wrestlemania history). They presented the show like it was SNL with so many backstage comedy bits and so many long segments that seemed to go on forever (the post match to Lawler/Cole for example). At times, it didn't even feel like a Wrestling show. It felt like a bad variety show. A VERY bad variety show. I mean I am a child of the 80s and this show made me hate Pee-Wee Herman for 5 minutes. That takes some extreme incompetence to achieve that!

They haven't tried to copy that format too closely since then. Yeah, they've had some bad comedy bits, but they've gone back to, at least, putting the matches first at Wrestlemania.

Even if Wrestlemania 31 is bad (which that remains to be seen), I doubt it will be as obnoxiously terrible as 27 was.

The beginning of WM 21 was solid enough, being Guerrero vs. Mysterio, MITB was meh, and then the midcard was awesome with Orton vs. Undertaker and Michaels vs. Angle. But then the rest was lackluster. Big Show vs. Akebono was filler, Stratus vs. Hemme the same. And then the two title matches... good God.

Cena vs. JBL felt like a regular match on RAW, and Batista vs. Triple H was just the champion getting his ass kicked. Kayfabe-wise, Triple H never looked like he could win that match.
