Okay, so Heyman has made the impossible, possible and I'm starting to get hyped for Mania. Now do we actually get Brock on TV for a few weeks to build this up? Or can we count on a Roman/Heyman fued w a sighting or 2 from The Beast before the big dance?

A few appearances but nothing substantial, Heyman will most probably
Carry the whole feud

Usually that seems fine when it comes to fueds w Cena, or HHH and we know their history and what it's taken to get there. Reigns on the other hand has Zero interaction w Brock until a few hours ago. And we're not talkin about building a middle of the card match at No Way Out, we're talking Main Event at Mania. That's a big risk if those 2 can't develop chemistry

Brock is apparently on Smackdown, so they may have a confrontational.

Ahh now we're talking. You'd think they'd have to right? Won't waste a Brock appearance. Be interesting to see whether they take the approach of letting Reigns see what kind of animal he's dealing w by having him get beat down, or if they want to further protect him and make him come out of the gate real strong against Brock. Looking forward to it

Heyman's promo made me just go :lel

You couldn't rub your own clients (Cesaro) like they are this super big deal but suddenly Roman Reigns with no important wins or accomplishments, gets your respect?

:heston

:lel

It's all about if they build this correctly, and book it right. They're good at fucking up monumentally. Reigns is going to have some real strong booking leading to their match, since how Lesnar was booked against Cena and Rollins. Not sure what they'll do to make him look strong to compete with Lesnar, but I think it means burying lots of heels.
Ahh, Rollins gonna eat a few more pins from THE POWERHOUSE I guess.

Also I think the secret weapon we've all forgotten, at least I have until tonight, is Heymans unmatched ability to get guys over and make them look good. That could go a long way in helping him to gain momentum heading in
Dude, Heyman building up Reigns makes no sense. Zero interaction, zero interest (Heyman was all over ROLLINS) and now suddenly, it's his fucking job to do WWE's job and treat him as someone with legit credibility? Heyman should be burying NOT building him up.

Well if that's the case, you can basically just replace "the match" with "everything WWE" and not discuss anything. He seemingly realized everyone was mad and wanted answers based upon Saxtons questions, bc they were similar to what I was hoping he'd ask, so who knows, maybe he'll stumble upon something good the next few weeks

Oh, sweet Jesus.

'WWE can go to hell, never watching again'

One day later...

'Oh. but Heyman though!'

Just lol.

Oh, sweet Jesus.

I knew it, like all abusive relationships, the excuses as to why you won't leave this time & will give them 'one more chance' are coming in already.

Nahhh I never said I wouldn't watch anymore to start w if I'm being honest. After the way they showed out at the Rumble, Id tune in even if for just 2 segments to watch Rollins and Bray do their thing and then tune out. Maybe I'm in the minority but whatever. I do though, find it hard to believe anyone posting on a wwe board at 5 something in the morning is gonna tune out WWE, never to watch again, but who knows

Pretty much.

I just say leave the build up until after Fast Lane, then when it does start keep Reign's mouth shut, let Heyman build the match up and get other Talkers involved. Have the usual beat down between both guys. Keep it simple not over do things cause Reign's wouldn't be able to carry it. Then pray that the WM match isn't a mess.

With great booking and story telling maybe Reigns will do well and turn heel at Mania and get his sea legs. But Reigns is still pretty green so they really need to have some chemistry. It's a long way between then and now. Done right and it will be great, done badly we're looking at the end of Reigns.

Agreed, if done right, and chemistry built, these are 2 BIG, super athletic dudes. Let Heyman carry Reigns this time around w the buildup on the mic. Bc I'm totally cool w him being the badass, man of few words, bc then they carry more weight when he uses them. And yeah face or heel post WM is fine too. I'm not partial to either Bc these days, the guys im supposed to hate (Rollins, Wyatt) I find myself wanting to see and hear constantly so who knows

Isn't Brock appearing on Smackdown Live this week?

If so I am sure that will fully kick it off between the 2 guys.

Yay Can't wait to see the GOAT Heyman destroy Reigns on the mic and make it look like it's men against a boy.

I think they should turn Reigns Heel with Corporate/Authority backup (HHH, Stephanie, Rollins) and make it HEEL vs. HEEL at Wrestlemania.

Brock will "organically" turn face in this feud or even in the match. So you gotta cool matchup i think. Just Reigns as Face vs. Heel-Lesnar is boring, and obviously Reigns will be booed like hell at WM.

It would make perfect sense, just like it made perfect sense to turn Cena heel in 2006. The problem is that fans were rebelling against Vince's chosen one. So instead of turning him heel, he did exactly the fucking opposite because he likes to be a cantankerous old contrarian fucker who thinks paying customers are his enemy.

It's the same with Reigns. He doesn't want to turn Reigns heel, even if it will help him get more over in the future & ultimately make VKM more money. It's the same old story with Vince I'm afraid, the harder fans rebel, the more VKM will dig his heels in & get what he wants in the end.

And at the end of the day, VKM still runs the whole shebang. So what can you do?

No Reigns/Authority. Reigns can be a separate heel entity with Heyman alone. Sting should end The Authority and Rollins should turn face. There's no reason for Rollins to be a stand alone heel after The Authority disbands. His character has been painted as a helpless coward for far too long. You've got to go an entirely different direction. They had their chance after Survivor Series to make him his own man and a solitary threat, but they failed. I'd like to see Reigns drop The Shield gear and wear a suit or his own merch the day after Mania. He looks better in his own merch anyway.

I kind of had the same thought last night after the segment...Ok Heyman was great and that was a decent segment, but now what for the next 2 months?

That's right people there is still 2 MONTHS until their actual match. They can't just do the same promo and stare down for the next 8 weeks, Heyman is Great, but he isn't GOD.

I mean I get given the circumstances with Raw they had to do something like that last night, but IMO, it was WAY to soon to do something like that.

Expect a (large) trail of buried superstars by Reigns in the next 2 months to make him look like a credible threat to Lesnar. And my guess is in Lesnar's appearances he will be beating up some of the "family" that Reigns told us all the stories about last night, to try and drive up sympathy for him. Usos for sure getting wrecked by Brock at some point in the next 2 months.

Why are people talking like mania is this Sunday? It's 2 months away, if you're writing off the main event before it's had a chance to have a proper build then I just give up with you pessimistic fuckers
