I'm thinking it could mean 2 things:
-ROCK MATCH: Rock has agreed to work WrestleMania and he's going to face Rusev (Rusev and Lana tweeted a lot about Rock recently).
-COOLING OFF HEAT AFTER BRYAN SITUATION: Have Bryan end Rusev's streak or possibly facing Cena.
Maybe Cena was asked if he'd rather face Bryan instead of Rusev at Mania and Cena accepted. Bryan vs Cena II would be great and would make Bryan fans less upset.

I think I'm 99% sure that WWE isn't going to do Cena vs Rusev II at Mania when they could've kept it the original first time ever match at Mania.

Even if Rusev wins, I don't think Cena vs Rusev rematch would be big enough for a WM match. This decision was probably made because of the fans reaction and wanting to put Bryan in a better match than Sheamus.

It means Rusev is getting Cena'd, nothing more, nothing less.
The eater of pushes always comes out to devour the future of an innocent this time of year.
The true monster of the WWE must be fed!

In a perfect world, it means that Rusev wins the first match. Like maybe they learned having the first match be a job out by the challenger(HI BRAY) @ Mania wasn't a good way to start a feud with JC.

And given they have clearly transitioned to the LOLREIGNSWINSLOL Era, that might just happen. Having Cena lose at FL would be no big deal for him and would make Reigns look strong in comparison. He can get the big win and first pin of Rusev at Mania NP.

And if anyone thinks that TPTB won't take glee in progressively jobbing Cena out now that High Chief Roman Maivia is on the warpath is kidding themselves. Allthough the real fun would start after the torch is passed at WM32. After that, JC will probably be lucky to win a diaper match.

MY PREDICTION:

In one of these scenarios a swerve will occur. Lana will betray Rusev and align herself with John Cena.

It's going to get so much heat. That Cena is going to turn fucking heel at WrestleMania. Perhaps in a 1 on 1 match-up against Bryan and Rusev at Mania.

Cena will beat Rusev at Fast Lane (as expected), he's still face. But following that D. Bryan will get in an altercation with Rusev that leads to a PPV match up for Mania.

There's going to be a lot of interference at Bryan vs Rusev's match, like Kane and Big Show interrupting it and making Rusev look good. Then finally Cena is going to come out and look like he's about to help Bryan then boom, he takes out Bryan, then Rusev is also taken out by Cena and Lana.

The fans go nuts.

Cena is then going to shoot on this match ending.

Hopefully the heel turn won't steal the spotlight from Reigns as he defeats Lesnar.

So I think it will be even keel, as Lesnar losing is going to put a shock on people's face. It will be sort of like when Lesnar beat the Undertaker.

Then we'll finally see Roman Reigns as the company new face vs John Cena the heel.

Yeah I def think it means Rusev is going over at Fast Lane. Which is actually smart. It will take some of the sting out of Cena beating him at Mania- a one and done WM loss would probably hurt Rusev a lot more.

I like this, I liked the reigns/lesnar stuff tonight, I like the sting/HHH shit... The top WM feuds seem to be off to a good start booking-wise. Now if only they would be better at recognizing who should be in said feuds... Bryan and Ambrose look like they are going to be jerking off backstage when the big matches happen at WM, which sucks.

I have no clue why they announced the match so early, with no build up on TV. The only build for this was on the Fallout for fuck sake. Stupid move. Hope they go towards someone else for Rusev at 'Mania.

Give a smaller wrestler the rub, don't give it to cunt head Cena.

Cena loses by count out or some other BS, and Rusev gets :buried at WM. Hopefully this doesn't happen because I'm quite fond of Rusev

If lesnar goes to ufc wwe should really think about keeping rusev strong and unbeaten, he could be a big star and would in the long run help make alot of money in a big match if he takes on the monster heel role that lesnar has right now

If it means Cena is ending Rusev's undefeated streak then it is a bad idea. Rusev losing before Mania will kill any momentum he could have going into mania.

Although as far as Cena "destroying his career" if he wins. While that might end up to be true, I think whoever finally beats Rusev will kill his momentum. The truth is Rosev is over because he and Lana keep badmouthing USA so much fans desperately want someone to shut up his anti-usa talk and boast he is unstoppable and beat him. But once someone finally does "stop him" he has nothing left and will likely be slowly pushed down the card.

I don't like that it will be Cena because given Rusev will likely be done would rather someone who needs the push at least benefit from it. And Cena of all people doesn't need to be the guy who beats Rusev. But with or without Cena beating him, Rusev IMHO is on borrowed time and always has been.
