I have a feeling Vince McMahon is livid about the disaster that occurred at the Royal Rumble and he is blaming Bryan for it. Then the night after the Royal Rumble they book Daniel Bryan in a fucking casket match vs Kane.
I have a feeling Bryans going to lose and Vince is trying to literally bury him.
If this is true he is just going to further piss off an already disgruntled fan base. I am just sick and fucking tired of the Kane/Daniel Bryan feud. Daniel Bryan is way too valuable at this point to waste anymore time with Kanes washed up ass.
If it were a buried alive casket match, then we'd have issues; VD tryna' get that last laugh and bury Bryan for good. Hopefully, like above, Sheamus comes through and kicks Bryans head off. Otherwise, Bryan will be stuck in no mans land for too long. He needs a feud, and Kane isn't the guy.
I feel this match is a build up for a Wyatt vs. Taker feud, Wyatt's gonna interfere somehow prompting Taker to come out of the casket and help Bryan kick Kane and Wyatt's asses.
Hah..... I wouldn't be surprised at all, but I think they are putting an end to the angle ..... Hopefully. And they have no one to blame but themselves for what happened at the RR
At the end of the day DB held up both chips at the end of WM30. IDGAF about backstage polotics or what Vince thinks of him AT THE END OF THE DAY HE BEAT 3 HOF IN ONE NIGHT TO CLOSE OUT WM AS THE CHAMPION
And that's what WWE will trumpet to the rubes for all time.
You get 1 night, the next and the the next nights for the next 10 years are our plans that you just have to accept because we did this 1 thing for you that 1 time.
Killing off Bryan? Didn't they do that 10 years ago with Mohammed Hussan? :lmao
I can already see the 'Daniel Bryan tribute show', where reigns cuts a hideous promo saying he will dedicate victory at mania to Bryan to get a cheap pop.
This just reminded me that there were rumours going around after last year's WrestleMania about a casket match with Kane - that was a real classy match to suggest weeks after a guy's dad dies. Looks like we're getting it after all!
The funny part is, if you want to bury the guy.. do it right. Have him face a big heel and lose. But they seem intent on making sure he stays away from any main event angle, while simultaneously trying to bury him. You can't bury as over a star as he is, no matter how many times you have him face Kane.
He has to go down fighting in a legit, believeable match that matters(no... Shaemus doesn't matter)... or its going to be bullshit to the audience.
The funny part is that Roman is the opposite. You could put him in the most believeable match possible against Lesnar at this point, and the audience will still call bullshit. The reason for that is they never dealt with Bryan, while simultaneously trying to do an end-run around him. They might not have respect enough for the guy, but the audience still does.
They gave him the record for most eliminations last night, and Bryan did say he was going to deal with Kane permanently.
My guess is Kane is entering politics, as a staffer for Rand Paul possibly. If it happens, and if Taker comes back, we could have Taker vs Bryan at wrestlemania.
And I do not want that match. Taker is well too past it now. He is younger than Sting, but looks 20 years older than him.
If he does he is literally retarded, Smackdown is in Boston. Boston was the first city to "hijack" a match by chanting for Bryan when Show/Orton had that match everyone hated.
I'm trying to to read too much into this, because I think the match is more a product of the lack of a real RAW last night. Up until last night, there was no mention of this weeks Smackdown being live, which is usually something they reserve only for special occasions, and rarely if ever in place of a live RAW. My guess is that they know the Rumble was a clusterfuck, and that RAW being cancelled would do nothing but fan the flames, so they're trying to play damage control by hyping up the now-live Smackdown and trying to grab the attention of people who were threatening to give up after all this mess. I don't think there will be much storyline significance to it, and I'm betting it will just be the end of the Bryan-Kane storyline so that Bryan can move on.
