He's seen the light :drose. Reigns is getting a lot of positive reviews on Twitter for tonight's interviews. I'm so happy they finally let him go unscripted :cheer

Yeah, the people who liked it are teenage girls, so that's WWE's new demographic.

They may have scripted Reigns part in the last promo, but the rest of the guys weren't scripted. You could tell by the way they were talking, there was a huge difference in Bryan, Reigns' first segment and Ambrose in particular, I've seen hundreds of his promos and I'm pretty confident that I would be able to tell when he's being scripted and when it's his own material.

I'll be damned, you can actually favorite tweets remotely with that link :lol

Been telling everybody since the beginning. This guy isn't just another pretty face,he has substance and a lot of talent that WWE won't let him reveal just yet.

The Roman Empire is getting stronger.
Yeah, that substance is Vince's cum around his mouth.

And this is why reigns has potential. He may not be ready now but needs time to and can become a great star.

Last night's booking was appalling and did a lot of damage to him. Agreed with foley. Keep VINCE the HELL AWAY. Maybe the kid has a chance. Still rather ziggler, ambrose or bryan vs lesnar but the non scripted reigns cutting promos till then would be alright

Just because he's doing his own thing doesn't mean he's going to magically going to turn into a competent talker. It's not all about the material

The Rock's recent promos over the years have been corny bullshit, but they worked because he is a naturally gifted talker; something Reigns isn't

Look at the other decent talkers on the roster. Ambrose, Wyatt, Barrett, Sandow, etc, all cut decent promos despite their shitty material because they can engage you regardless of said material

That segment was awesome. Heyman was brilliant with his set up. Reigns just staring and listening. Brock being Brock. Then their first stare down didn't disappoint ether. thats how you sell a match up. Really did feel like two heavyweight boxers with that build up. Not everyone was sold or even liked it but A LOT of praise is being thrown Reigns way and after last night I'd say this was a victory. One week at a time with nice segments and this can be very entertaining. Still dont know how the match will be but they're running with it so i hope for the best.

I agree with Mick in the sense Reigns would benefit from keeping creative far away but in all honesty...WHO WOULDNT?

Everyone would be better off without creative's bullshit. Not gonna lie, I thought Reigns was very...average, on the mic tonight, but it was at least very encouraging to see he is seemingly done with the Nursery Rhymes shtick. Both guys looked a bit out of their element, but I don't really think it was their faults.

To be fair the entire situation was kinda lame to begin with. A cozy little meeting in the middle of some office somewhere? Really?

Roman sure does have a fascinating and amazing family, but I really wanna see ROMAN shine and see ROMAN's swag next Monday. Cookie cutter answers, nostalgia for old timers and the breaking kayfabe questions shit needs to be left at the door and Roman and Brock better come in swinging :D

Eh, it was better than his old material but really I just wasn't impressed. The Looney Tunes stuff was so bad it was funny. His "I'm gonna beat you" promo to Lesnar wasn't hysterically awful but it was just kind of vanilla. Heyman did a fantastic job building up both guys however.

Regardless, I don't think anyone will disagree with what Mick Foley said.

It was just a fucking Cena promo delivered with less conviciton than how Cena delivers them. You know you fucking suck when you got me defending Cena

You know what, I liked Reigns' delivery a lot in that final confrontation with Brock, and it was decent in his sit-down with Byron as well. Good job Reigns :clap

You know, I want to like the guy, and part of me does, but WWE is really making it hard for me, and I'll never compromise my push for Bryan. I still want to see Bryan/Lesnar, and hopefully we at least see it at Fast Lane, whether he wins or not, because I NEED THAT MATCH IN MY LIFE :D:.

Reigns still sounded like he was scripted, and based on the reports you could hear people tell him what to say, he was in that first segment.

I also think the fact we didn't have a crowd reacting to the segment and it was backstage in a low-key environment helped Reigns appear better than he is (although I personally thought he was still pretty bad). When it comes time for him to go out to the ring and cut a promo, for one he'll probably have half the crowd booing him, and two he'll go back to apparently "being scripted" unlike tonight (if we take Mick's tweet as the truth).

lol @ reports. Olivia posted the videos right here for everyone to hear. They sound EXACTLY the same as they did on TV. I've seen Reigns in outside media interviews and he sounds just like this. I know you hate him, but stop desperately reaching. It doesn't help your case at all.

Reigns was really enjoyable in that final segment. It's hard for me to enjoy anything WWE related right now but I would be lying if I said the guy doesn't have potential.

I'm just hoping WWE does something worthwhile with Bryan at Mania (Number one contenders match or something that isn't a meaningless mid-card match).. If they correct that wrong then I have no problems giving Reigns/Lesnar a chance.

If it's not in front of a live crowd, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Promos without a microphone and a crowd are infinitely easier on the speaker.

That said, it wasn't bad. It didn't light any fires in me, but I'm still devastated from Bryan's elimination. I can hardly look at Reigns without feeling sick. Not his fault, I guess, but still...

i liked the promo, it felt like a movie and the tension was incredible for WWE standards. i'm just finding it hard to celebrate after the WWE treated bryan like a tool and gave him horrible bullet points. the person i am can't accept the WWE screwing it's fans and getting their way in the end.

i'm happy for anyone that doesn't care about it like i do because they're able to sit back and enjoy what has potential of being an entertaining storyline. i'm happy for reigns too. at the end of the day, the RR booking wasn't his fault and he deserves a chance to prove himself.

I wonder who was behind tonight's show. Someone got the ball rolling on damage control and Roman was able to get some points on the board. Tonight was the most effective promo he's been in. I hope they keep these interview style interviews.

The WWE feels so bipolar at times. The RR was horribly booked and the next night, they start redeeming themselves. Not that tonight excuses the Rumble, but they got Heyman to make Reigns/Lesnar appealing to more people.
