Dang, the fans booed Rock pretty good here. Dont get how fans worked. Yeah he was leaving to shoot for a movie but if you were to have the opportunity to be in a movie and be paid much more and less at risk, you guys wouldn't have taken it? But, I'm glad the fans booed him since we got the legendary Hollywood Rock persona. What do you guus think about it?

That's pretty awesome. I've only seen the backstage segment after the match, not the in-ring promo directly after it. Refreshing isn't it? The crowd turned on the Rock and instead of pretending that's a good thing for the next 9 years, he embraced it and turned heel. And we got the birth of Hollywood Rock.

Wait there is a backstage segment? Can you send me the link?

they booed him because they loved him and he was leaving. he wasn't hated. I remember being too little to know he was leaving and didn't understand why he couldn't be a wrestler and an actor cause they only had to wrestle a few times a week.

idk, i remember being pretty sick of him as the face champion and winning all the time with his set of sig moves over and over. he didn't wrestle matches the normal way. he did nothing but power moves and/or sig moves the whole match. he made me laugh during promos, but i got so sick of him wrestling matches cuz they were always the same. it's why everyone cheered nwo hogan against him. he got stale in the ring.

I'm not really into "part time" babyfaces. How are we supposed to cheer you and support you if you only come like a couple of times a year?

I don't think I would mark out more for anything (in today's era) than a Rock heel turn. Have him turn heel by beating up Bryan or Reigns.

It would be a giant wasted opportunity to not turn Rock heel before he retires.
