Is it better to be champion in TNA or jobber/midcard in WWE

There are some wrestlers who were midcard/part of tag teams in WWE that went to TNA and became multiple time world champion or at least pushed to the main event/upper card. If you were a wrestler would you rather be a jobber/midcard in WWE or be a 2x world champion in TNA?

tna world champ without a doubt, unless i had potential to make it to main event in wwe.

i figure the salary for a top tna star is equal to or greater than jobber/midcarder in wwe. HOWEVER, the schedule will be much lighter, and you wont be seen as a joke on tv. would you rather be bobby roode or heath slater??

I guess jobber/midcarder in WWE, the TNA World Title means jack shit anyway; I'd rather be US or IC Champion over that.

This, and IF I had the chance to be US champion, I'd make a serious push to replace that US title with the classic WCW United States belt, with an updated WWE logo on it of course. That belt was sharp. :)

TNA Champion...

It's my understanding that Bobby Roode makes about $400,000 and works a lot less.
Scott Steiner was earning 2.5k per appearance in tna so zero chance roode is making over 7.5k a week and not appearing for the company since September.

In Feb 2012 his contract ran out and he sit at home for a month while wwe has no interest in the guy but we are to believe they resigned him to a new deal worth nearly half a million a year....

That is like asking a basketball player would he rather be in the NBDL or the NBA or a baseball player would he rather be in the MLB or Triple A. Of course a Professional Wrestler would want to be on the grandest stage in their profession.

If you were a baseball player, would you rather be a utility player on an MLB team or bat cleanup on an independent minor league team?

If you were a football player, would you rather be a star in the AFL/ CFL, or be a backup in the NFL?

If you were an actor, would you rather have a supporting role in a huge blockbuster Hollywood movies, or would you rather have the lead in a small time low budget straight to DVD movie?

If you were a singer/ musician, would you rather be an opening act on tour featuring a megastar doing large arenas, or would you rather be a headliner in coffee clubs and small nighclubs in front a few dozen people?

Bottom the line... The bottom of the WWE totem pole is still higher than the TNA totem pole

Not really comparable in any sense. The WWE schedule is much harder, and the pay isn't really much more. Most guys actually preferred the TNA schedule and pay in comparison. The thing guys hated most was the terrible utilization of talent and the stupid changes happening every 6 months and the direction being non existent.

Not only that, the WWE doesn't even have the best wrestling right now. NJPW beats them out bell to bell every night and it's not even close. NJPW utilizes their talent much better. TNA is about the same as the WWE when it comes to utilizing talent. They both are fucking AWFUL right now with maybe 1 or 2 feuds you should care about.

I'd rather be the TNA Champion because I'd probably get paid more, work less.

first of all, wrestling is not real. being a world champion in any promotion doesn't mean much (unless you're Benoit, Miz, or some wrestlers who take it seriously).

money and how happy you are in your job at the company is more important.

most WWE wrestlers who work for the company long enough will have money to use for the rest of their lives. while guys like Christopher Daniels doesn't have shit. he probably has to keep wrestling in the indies until he's 60 year old, with injuries all over his body and die like the protagonist of the Wrestler film.

No its nothing like that....

It's like asking a baseball player would you rather play in the MLB never play and make $500K or go to Japan be an All Star and make $750K.
