I'd imagine. Because he was pretty ripped and firm as fuck for a Samoan :lol Roman is half Samoan and his stomach is damn near pudding lol it won't firm up for its life. Usos are very active and they still have their stomachs and aren't ripped at all. They're not Bo Dallas, jiggly, but still.
I'm no expert, but I do follow Rock on Instagram and the guy is busting in it the gym every morning at like 4 AM. He has an unbelievable work ethic. Personally, I don't think he's on anything right now. I can't speak for back in the day however.
No amount of hard work will make a natty look like current day Rock. Back in the AE he was very likely on gear, but it's a virtual certainty these days.
He looked pretty juiced in the Attitude Era until about 2001. He was probably around 250 or 260 back then, but he wasn't shredded up.
From 2002-2003 (especially 2003 as the "Hollywood" Rock), he looked clean. Still looked like he was in good shape, but was a lot lighter than he used to be. I'd say he was about 220 or 230 back then.
Now? He looks like 270-280 or something, but a lot more shredded than he was in the AE. He looks pretty obviously juiced now.
I would probably guess he was at first. But he is definitely is on it now, the guy is in ridiculous shape at the moment despite being 40+ and just looks completely unnatural.
Hard to say, since he was a HUGE dude regardless. Former college football player and all. And he was more of a big athletic guy, than bulky to the point of roid use. But fuck, everyone takes them in wrestling so he probably did.
During the Rock/Cena II stuff, he's most definitely juiced.
You see I don't think he did. In his book he said he did during college like twice but since they he hadn't done it. Like you said he played for football and is a huge guy but I doubt he took steroids back then.
..Of course he was and as somebody else stated it's more a case of finding a WWE star that is NOT on steroids rather than somebody who is, but with Rock it's more evident than others, the quick hairloss, the growth of female like breast tissue etc etc...all a side effect of juicing.
I don't think those really show anything. A lot of men have Gynecomastia without ever using steroids same with losing hair in your 40s. It's all in the genes.
With that being said, anyone who doesn't think Rock is on steroids is either clueless or delusional.
However, my opinion on Dwayne Johnson as a performer or as a human being doesn't change one damn bit.
He's a class act and I have all the respect in the world for him.
Back then I don't think he was. He was big, but he was not shredded which to me seemed like he just ate a lot to get that big (plus he had the fat face until 2001-2002). I remember hearing that him and Big Show would eat like 5 whole chickens each before a match, and the reason a lot of people take roids is because they can't physically eat enough clean food to put on that much mass. Rocky could eat since he had that Samoan blood in him.
But lately, he is clearly on the juice. The thing with roids is that it helps you gain muscle without putting on as much fat like eating a ton of food, and right now, AT 42, he is more shredded yet at the same weight as he was at 26. Add to the fact that his abdominal tear against Cena is a typical roid injury like Triple H and Vince had with their quads (muscles too big for their tendons, so they rip off) and I'd say he is clearly juicing now.
Yeah. Remember when he was wearing a shirt for a bit for his attire? It was to cover up the surgery scars from when he got his Gynecomastia (aka roid tits) removed.
I'd say from 97-late 99, yes. After that he got skinnier and skinnier until the time he retired. I for one don't like the skinny Rock of 02-04, as he looked kind of geeky. But from 98-99 he was a beast.
I've always wondered if the voice change coincided with him going off them. Can a voice change because of steroids?
Lol of course he was. I don't get why people shun the idea that someone uses steroids. When used correctly and cycled they have amazing benefits with little to no side effects. Back then guys juiced really hard and did since the 80's. It was bad, but luckily knowledge on their use has improved since then.
Don't think he was back then. He's always been a huge guy. Plus he's half Samoan. He just has really good genetics. However I don't know about now but it's so obvious that HHH was on roofs and still is!!
