From WrestleZone:

According to several people I have spoken with who work at the venue WWE will be running for the January 31st live event in Canada, and the live event taking place on 12/26 at Madison Square Garden, WWE is adhering to a strict “No CM Punk” policy.

I was informed by security staff at both venues that WWE will not allow fans to wear CM Punk merchandise or carry CM Punk signs. If they do, they will be asked by security to change their clothes, remove their signs, or they will be asked to leave the venue.

WZ reader Darius Williams sent in word that during last night’s Raw taping in Minnesota, at least 5 fans were spotted being kicked out for violating the de facto “CM Punk policy,” and security guards could be seen confiscating numerous CM Punk signs.
:lol :lmao :lol :lmao :lol

How the fuck is wearing a CM Punk shirt going to affect anything? I can get why they ban CM Punk signs, but fuck off with the clothing ban. It is just pure childish behavior.
Because he doesn't work for the promotion anymore. Vince's WWE cameras promoting UFC is not what he wants to do.

Good luck trying to enforce that at MSG, you'll get Punk chants all night long.
NYC doesn't give a fuck about Punk. Last time I was there visiting, they gave no fucks about him.

MSG is rich people buying tickets. It ain't indy fans anymore. All that changed when Dolan took over.

Roman Reigns is going to be cheered, Dean Ambrose is going to be over, so will Bray. And if Orton shows up that place is going to pop.

I can sorta see the signs being removed but shirts? WWE sells those shirts! come on! Lol at people defending removing people's shirts. This is retarded, if this was the case only Reigns shirts and Cena shirts should be allowed. Maybe that's what they want? The Punk hate is strong in some of these posters, sure Punk RL is a douche, who cares? Cena's done some really douche like shit but oh no it's Punk so gotta complain.

Also I'm not sure but Believe That seems to have wandered in and started talking a bunch of shit not even linked to the topic at hand, just Punk hate. I hate Cena but I keep my hate to the topic, not some random soap box rant in any thread with Cena in it. Some of these posters here are just complete dipshits.

Good.

He paid for the damn venue and the talent in the ring deserves respect. But fuck Vince McMahon.
He paid for the venue by earning money from us, the fans, and with the intent to earn more money from us. He's not renting an arena to give us a treat.

I can slightly understand the signs even if I disagree with their censorship, but not allowing people to wear CM Punk t-shirts (a form of WWE MERCHANDISE) is atrocious.

Vince and his cronies are still butthurt over this CM Punk situation. That's so pathetic. Vince probably cries himself to sleep at night, clinging to his cock shaped pillow. At this point if they are going to dictate what people can wear to their events, why don't they just require people to wear John Cena or Roman Reigns merchandise? It's their show, right?

Yeah you're right why would he be angry at the guy who walked out and talked shit about his company.

While they're at it, ban people who wear Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior, Stone Cold, DX, etc shirts...after all, they're not relevant to the current product.
Of course, as I'm sure you know, this post is bullshit.:ben3

If the WWE won't allow us to wear what we want and have signs that say what we want, then we should just forget about the WWE. We should create our own wrestling company... with blackjack... and hookers!
