Yah. The WWE is 100% objective in how it treats its superstar sports entertainers. There are no politics. No one pulling anyone back. Their performance evaluation standards are the envy of Wall Street.
Zack Ryder just isn't ambitious enough and its his own fault like everyone not named Rock, Cena or Brock for not getting pushed
I hope he comes back blazing. His persona is a lot more believable to me than many of the current RAW roaster mainstays. Probably because his persona on TV is a lot like his true personality. Love it or hate it.
Plus, that boot to face in the corner of the ring move is pretty cool.
The man got himself over and they put him in a program with cena to bury him right back down
I always point to ryder when people say Cena puts people over
funny wwe was willing to throw tons of money at rey just to keep him because he sells masks even if he basically was on ur for the last few yrs, while ryder making far less was moving product and wwe is like fuck you, just because...... the brass ring is hanging on a helicopter while vince is like why dont you grow wings as he goes to a field to pick up some dude he likes
What's shitty is he's not even in WWE 2K15, and in all the WWE Games that he's been in, i would create my own wrestler, and have Zack Ryder as my tag partner
Dude his in 2k14 and he kicked my ass earlier while i was brock but i was playing on legend and are people still upset about that brass ring commyent by Vince? Its nonsense vince just gives that brass ring to guys he like its proven that those that grab and get themselve over upsets him just go ask Captain charisma,Zac Ryder and Cesaro
People are always going to say how Ryder didn't have talent, no one wanted to see him(which is a flat out lie), how the cream rise the top and all this shit. But this guy got over on his own, and was punished for it, no ifs ands or buts about it.
I didnt watch all that much in 2011 but watched tlc 2011 on network the other day when he won the title. He was over as fuck. Was going to make a thread about cole completely burying him on commentary during that much. It was ridiculous!
I'm amazed that he agreed to do what looks to be an incredibly painful and potentially more dangerous spot by getting rolled off of the stage. I don't understand why in the world they would have put him in that position with no protection at all. I mean, look at the video- that was a completely shoot stunt that could have messed him up really badly.
He had to have known that that was his way of being buried. It's hard for me to reconcile how bold he was in getting recognized, but how complacent he was in getting humbled, when he was still getting huge pops and selling merch like crazy. I wonder what must have happened backstage in the interim.
I wish Stone Cold had asked Vince about it during the podcast interview.
What Vince said pretty much was a slap in the face of the entire roster beside the ones he did not mention, imagine you work your ass off daily, and than your boss says, myeah, you are not trying hard enough.... I understand there are indeed some are not that hungry to go for it in that ring, but Cesaro was one of them who is hungry and put on great matches this year, even when he had to job, and than Vince had the balls to say that Cesaro doesn't have "it", the guy has it or he never got that reaction when he won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal.
Being from LI, I've always been rooting for Ryder. I'm glad he has the balls to tweet stuff like that but I'm sure it will bury him even further.
Honestly, I'd prefer they just send him to NXT when he returns. Guys like Zayn and Neville should be making the jump soon, and I doubt guys like Balor or Itami stay down there too long. They could use a guy like Ryder like they used Kidd. Would love to see the kind of reactions he'd get down there.
Never been a fan of Ryder's but going back and watching stuff from 2011 has made me seen how just fucking over this guy was, he should have been pushed to the moon.
I think he's about to be handed the plastic rings instead.
