Matches/results of matches that you've seen that are blatant products of backstage politicking?

A few examples:

Obvious one: Bret vs Shawn (Survivor Series 1997)

Bulldog vs Shawn (One Night Only)

Hogan vs Shawn (Summerslam 2005)

IWC in a nutshell.

But the thing is, IWC company would fail after two weeks.

You don't know more shit than a whole damn company, WWE, a global juggernaut, you're just a random guy on the Internet. Sit down, and calm your boner.

INB4 John Cena :cena5

But I will mention Jericho and Edge talking about how he buried The Nexus, and it was clear that he did.

good lord another guy who missed the entire point jericho and edge were talking about

nexus and wade were never going over Vince and creative had it scripted for them to lose

all they said is they didn't like how john was gonna beat them the whole subject of the convo was not realizing whats happening infront of you till you shit the bed

it started with edge saying he didn't want to be in the first mitb and him telling writers to keep him off mania

cena went backstage and apologized because he wasn't looking at the big picture

HHH/Booker at Mania 19. With the storyline having those racist undertones about Booker being HHH's limo-driver or baggage-handler, remarks about his 'nappy hair', and Trips saying 'Somebody like you doesn't get to be a world champion. People like you don't deserve it.'

Then instead of Booker getting the triumphant babyface win, Trips kicks out of all Booker's finishing moves, hits him with a single pedigree and waits 20 seconds to cover him - and still gets the clean pinfall. Completely ruined Booker's momentum and sent him back to the midcard for years, while the HHH reign of terror would continue on.

Everything Cena is involved, his feud with the Nexus, Umaga, Sandow, Del Rio, Henry, Batista, etc. Him always winning is has to do a lot with politik backstage. Now his power is so big that he is gonna make his girlfriend the Divas Champion and be the power couple of the WWE. Fuck Cena.

Bret V Shawn - Survivor Series 1997 - Needs no explanation

Shawn v Bulldog - One Night Only 1997 - Absolutely disgusting display by Michaels that night

HHH v Cm Punk - NOC 2011 - Why the fuck did HHH go over in this match? Fucking ego trip from HHH I think.

HHH v Booker T - Wrestlemania 19 - Again an ego trip and a burial from HHH

Hogan v Sting - Starrcade 1997 - Hogan ruined a year of awesome build up with his insecurity and bullshit

Randy Orton v Christian - Smackdown 2011 - I don't know if it was Vince or Orton to blame but Christian losing the title 3 days after winning it at a PPV stunk to high heaven of backstage bullshit.

John Cena(Team WWE) v Nexus - Summerslam 2010 - That ending was so unbelievably stupid and ego driven on Cena's part. Shame on him. And shame on those who try to defend him for it.

Sheamus v Daniel Bryan - Wrestlemania 28 - Poor show. But jokes on HHH and Sheamus because it got Bryan even more over :)

John Cena v Brock Lesnar - ER 2012 - Cena's post match speech was a piece of selfishness and egomania up there with anything Hogan, HHH or Michaels ever did. He's lucky Lesnar didn't come back out and beat the shit out him for it.

Cena v Wyatt - Payback 2014. He literally buried him that night.

Any time Cena says "You gotta get through me if you want to be at the top". Yeah John. We get it!

No. Vince and company told Shawn he was going to win because Bret was leaving. Shawn didn't "politic" to win that match? Shawn could have begged Vince to lose that match, and he still wouldn't have changed Vince's mind.
