Backstage Talk On John Cena Possibly Leaving WWE For A Movie Career

Source: PWInsider Elite

Quote:
There has been a lot of talk within.WWE.lately about.John Cenas movie career. PWInsider noted that some of the wrestlers have joked that Cena will start "bringing it via satellite" soon.
We noted that Cena will be missing several upcoming WWE events due to filming of.The Nest.and.Trainwreck.

There have been people backstage speculating that if Cena's movie work takes off, given how banged up he is, he could be the next one to walk away from WWE for a Hollywood career in the next few years.

<starts praying Cena's movies are successful>

Honestly could be the best thing for the WWE, the "Good Guy' safety blanket has been holding the product back bigtime IMO. If the WWE loses that safety blanket they would be forced to actually come up with something new.

also could make that "Thrice in a Lifetime" match vs ALOT more interesting when they both return for WM in 5 years

I'd be surprised if he makes it in Hollywood.

Re: Backstage Talk On John Cena Possibly Leaving WWE For A Movie Career

I really hope this isn't true. John Cena is an all-time great and needs to stick around for another 5-10 years at least while he's still in his prime. The roster is far too weak to deal with the absence of somebody as big as John Cena. Daniel Bryan is out and probably retiring, CM Punk went home and cried to mama and now John Cena, the greatest superstar of the last decade is possibly quitting? NO! NO! NO!!!
