forgot about that. what was that all about. Some shyt aint material for entertainment imo. Like I was gonna come in here and pick Taker hanging Bossman from the hell in a cell cage.
If you want to sell that psychotic shyt that's why you have characters like Sabu and Hardy who pull their bodies on the line.
That match set the stage for one of the best WrestleManias (and one of the best WrestleMania endings) of all time. To call it a mistake borders on the inane and the absurd.
I agree with Redzero, Pushing Reigns as the top member of The Shield is pretty dumb, although i doubt it's the worst decision they've ever made.
Pushing for PG was actually s smart business move for them. WWE is evolving every day and they're making more money than they ever have. More people want to sponsor a PG product as well.
Other than that obvious one, I vote Brawl-for-All. Very few of the participants were trained fighters, leading to some terrible matches. During some of them, you could hear sections of the crowd shout "WE WANT WRESTLING". The aftermath was legendarily tragic, as the guy they wanted to push by holding the contest LOST, several guys got injured and they buried the winner of the event by putting him in a boxing match against a successful boxer. Herp derp.
If that is what you want to believe, then that is what you believe...
I know, he didnt beat Cena clean, but Cena is not some god. You dont need to go over him clean to be a legit main event star. Sure that rub wont hurt you, but that is not necessary when you are over enough as Bryan is. Besides what went down on wrestlemania 30 is a way bigger deal, than just beating Cena clean.
Brawl For All is a good shout. Setting aside the fact that if people wanted boxing, they'd watch boxing instead of Raw... nearly everyone that entered walked away with some form of injury, the office-backed winner Dr Death lost, and Bart Gunn won the thing only to look like a complete geek next to Butterbean and then get fired.
McMahon's Million Dollar Mania is also up there. The weird game-show format only succeeded in wasting money and Raw airtime, and didn't attract the RATINGZ!!1 it was supposed to. Watching Vince slowly dial in each number, then waiting for the phone to ring, followed by some confused dude answering the phone and awkwardly going back and forth with Vince was hardly must-see TV. And Vince knew it, but instead of admitting it was a failure just contrived another fake-death storyline to write him off TV.
Yeah Austin turning heel was a stupid decision for sure. Worst idea is quite a tough question though... Giving IC belt to Santino (twice) is quite stupid lol
Katie Vick
Anonymous Raw GM a la Hornswoggle is Vince's son (storyline went on forever)
Vince dies in limousine explosion
Those skits involving the suicidal referee and Josh Matthews
The Vince's death angle was actually pretty good, I remember watching it and actually being shocked after it happened. Of course I knew it was a work but I also knew it would make for a good storyline. The only thing that fucked it up was the Benoit death the very same week
- Batista winning the 2014 Royal Rumble
- The Miz main-eventing WM27
- The booking of the Lawler-Cole match at WM27 (should've just been a 5-minute squash by Lawler)
- Making ECW a C-grade show instead of a seperate brand
- HLA
- Katie Vick
- Kernel From Hell
- Jim Ross colon surgery parody skit
- Rosie O Donnel vs. Donald Trump
- Guest hosts
Anonymous Raw GM is Hornswoggle. Oh and he's also Vince's bastard son...
I mean who thought that was ever a good idea ffs?
