It's comments like this that give us Punk fan's a bad name.
No, because he has it all, and as I said WWE has an issue with his size. He's better on the mic than the ones I mentioned and better than all in the ring apart from Bryan (only ROH), I'm just saying he's the most likable choice for it. Just because I think Punk is the closest thing all of a sudden I'm given Punk fans a bad name . You didn't even mention his name so why bother arguing. Punk has the most opportunity because he outsold Cena more than anyone I mentioned, and I already mentioned the reasons.

Punk had the least chance of them all. He's a walking PR nightmare. Do you see how he dresses at press conferences etc. Do you see how he speaks in interviews. He has a horrible attitude and he can't be trusted as you can see by his recent walk out. He's to much of an unprofessional hipster douche to even be considered for the TOP GUY slot. He doesn't have it all, because he doesn't have the look or the personality.

Punk in 2011 was the closest, Bryan presently is making a nice run as well.

But in reality no-one has been close since BOOtista turned heel and left in 2010.

But until the WWE fully ever lets someone really threaten his spot for real, no-one will get close.

Probably Bryan right now. I would've considered Punk, but he never had a chance with his looks and attitude (which is kinda sad, but understandable).

"Grab that fuckin business, that company by the throat, say - Hey motherfucker, I want a push!"

So you expect a guy with drug addiction be the face of the company or a guy who was in late 30s face of the company. You mentioned Orton which is hypocritical, the guy violated the wellness policy numerous times and is/was a known asshole in interviews and has attitude problems, so how does he qualify more when I also can add laziness and the fact he doesn't appeal enough to the overall fanbase and he def doesn't have a strong personality to carry a company lol. As for Bryan how does he have the looks and personality .

Punk is not the only top guy who dresses like that at press conferences for example Austin or HBK. Dressing differently is not really a big issue, and if so explain how so. Is a press conference a big deal, in the HOF or red carpet he dresses like anyone else. How does he speak in interviews? I don't see how he's an asshole in interviews, which interviews are you referring to. He does have attitude problem backstage but that's exactly what a top star does anyway when being overlooked, but that's only been noticeable as much recently in the past 4-6 months, he wasn't happy with his booking, and I don't blame him. He's not been booked properly since SS. Also we don't know how corrupted the creative team is or whoever is behind this filler show. We don't know the details so why speak about it. He might not have the look that WWE is looking for but he does have a strong personality .

Randy Orton was really close from becoming the new face of the company, I've heard Cena basically turned on him backstage

Yeah, Orton in 2010 was mega over.

How is Orton, the guy who worked the third most televised matches of 2013 (DB and Sandow had a few more) lazy. He also worked the most Smackdown matches.

Re: Which Full timer has threatened Cena's top face spot the most between 2006 and no

Bryan, Orton, Hardy, Batista and Punk in that order. Punk was never as over as any of the other guys I listed. That's why they were willing to turn him heel less than a year after his run. Watch a random episode of RAW in 2011 or 2012 and look at his crowd reactions. Nowhere near what Hardy was getting, Orton was getting in 2010, or Bryan is getting now. Plus, he's just not as good of a babyface as the others. He's generally unlikeable. I'm sure the WWE knew he had no chance of surpassing Cena.
