So I couldn't find a thread for this, please link me if it already exists.

I'm loving his podcast especially the diversity (loved the paranormal episode).

What do you guys think?

Re: The Chris Jericho Podcast Thread

I haven't listened to Jerichos show since the month it launched with the Austin and Edge interviews. I guess its becuase I just don't really care about the guests hes had on for the most part I don't need to listen to Eddie Trunk bitch about how much he hates 2014 KISS and how they shat on Ace and Peter.

Re: The Chris Jericho Podcast Thread

I'm bumping it to discuss about the 2nd part of the RVD interview. Man, I knew RVD was for the legalization of marijuana, but I did not know how much he knew about the political aspects that prevents it from being legalize and made convincible points on how the effects of it would benefit people (in a recreational sense). He was like rainman when they talked about it. In fact, I don't think Jericho asked a question regarding RVD's perspective of legalizing it. He just probably wanted to know how RVD felt regarding that whole mess in mid-2006 when he got busted.

Overall, that was pretty good episode. However, you can skip the 1st 10 or so min. when Jericho began the episode discussing the Forever 27 club.

As for the non-wrestling episodes, I like them a lot. Jericho has a lot of rock music buddies and naturally, those guys are going to be on the show talking about anything regarding the world of rock.

Google hashbar.tv on youtube...RVD is very into the legalize movement..which is why it annoys me that some posters just think of him as some lazy bum stoner.

Re: The Chris Jericho Podcast Thread

It's good. Worth a listen. I don't know about actively listening to it, though, as half of his guests so far I don't care for.

My favorites so far have been the ones with Chavo Guerrero & Natalya. I thought I wasn't going to care much for Nattie on the show as I thought it was just gonna be fluff and just discussing Total Divas and all that shit, but she actually went pretty in-depth into when she first started training, how her father got pissed that she started wrestling, she apparently was bleeding during her first WWE tryout, just very interesting stuff. And I loved Chavo's, I mostly was interested in him discussing Chris Benoit's death and how he was pretty much the last person he talked to during that terrible weekend, but I actually liked hearing the rest of the interview. Great guy. Never cared much for Chavo but I respect the hell out of that guy, especially considering he lost Eddie, he lost Benoit, and probably some other friends/peers of his and he's still going, etc. I actually wouldn't mind meeting the guy one day.

Triple H is on Jericho's show today. What a great show (Episode 70). HHH is amazing. Some great stories, after the poor shows with Batista last week, where you could barely hear what Batista was trying to say.

Jericho & HHH about a lot about WCW and his start in pro wrestling, and a bit about Vince, The Clique, etc.

Top comment from Triple H on TIJ: "The president
doesn't have to be the smartest guy in there, he's just
gotta have bunch of smart people in there and then they
all give him feedback and ideas and all these things and
then you have to make the common sense decision in
which one is the best"

Chris Jericho: "CM Punk essentially left his wrestling buds behind"

Pretty much the article says Jericho felt Punk was in essence rather rude for not replying or considering to communicate to those wrestling friends who reached out to Punk and never got a reply. That's the interpretation i got lol.

http://www.inquisitr.com/1562657/ww...punk-is-leaving-his-wrestling-friends-behind/

- Chris Jericho always has some interesting stories about the WWE, but this time his story about CM Punk is just plain sad. According to Jericho, CM Punk is essentially leaving all of his old wrestling buddies behind, and has cut off that part of his life.

The latest WWE news going around the Chicago block says that the relationship between the WWE and CM Punk has only become worse with time. Although it was believed CM Punk, Vince McMahon, and Triple were attempting to hash out a deal when the WWE 2K15 debacle occurred, apparently nothing came of it, and perhaps the situation has only grown worse.

There’s also the rumor that Vince McMahon’s “rule” for Total Divas would prevent AJ Lee from being the Diva champion if she were to join the cast. Stephanie McMahon denies that rule exists in the first place, and AJ Lee says it was her decision to not be involved in Total Divas, though many of the cast members have insisted in interviews that the rule exists. As such, the rumors still persist that the WWE management is essentially punishing CM Punk indirectly through his wife.

If any of these nasty backstage rumors are true, this might explain why Chris Jericho told Figure Four Daily podcast that CM Punk has distanced himself.

“We used to talk quite often and not really about wrestling stuff…. We always had great chemistry and he’s one of my favorite guys to work with. And then when he left the WWE he never talked to me again,” said Jericho. “I never heard one peep or squeak or anything from him again. I reached out to him a couple times just about, you know, ‘Hey, I’m watching The Clash from ’78′ or whatever and nothing. That’s his decision, and it’s kind of a drag. I understand professionally not wanting to be open but kind of leaving your friends behind? I don’t give a f**k if he wrestles or not. It doesn’t matter to me; it never did.”

When Figure Four Daily asked Chris Jericho if we would ever see a CM Punk WWE return, he bluntly stated that he did not know. But Seth Rollins was asked the same question recently, and he believes it could happen years down the road.

“Before WrestleMania 31 highly, highly unlikely. Down the road? Part of me was 100 percent sure he’d be back at some point but the longer he’s away, the more it makes me wonder that maybe he’s gone. He spent a good portion of his life dedicated to this business, it’s good for him to maybe get away.”

Re: Chris Jericho: "CM Punk essentially left his wrestling buds behind"

This is pretty much true, Punk spends most of his time now hanging around Rener Gracie and other MMA guys, I suspect now he is only in contact with Colt Cabana and a couple guys at OVW from the Pro-Wrestling world.

This. I think at the least Punk could been more courtious and reply to some of these guys..but to completely ignore their calls and texts is rude. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Chris Jericho: "CM Punk essentially left his wrestling buds behind"

Coming from a massive CM Punk fan who was drawn back into watching, purely cos of Punk, all these stories are making it quite hard for me to still like him. He's come across since he left the wrestling business is beneath him. I remember he did that ice bucket challenge, challenging hockey players, he came across like the nerd trying to get noticed by the cool kids. There's going to be a time, whether its another yr, 5 yrs or 10, where he's going to regret the way he's acted the last 12 months and all the bridges he's burned. But then again, maybe he won't, cos he does seem like a down right asshole.
