Undertakers revenge on The Shield, and is WM30 the final match?

I know these kinda discussions come up every year, with people's thoughts in regards to The Undertaker and his final Wrestlemania match, but surely it has to be fairly close now ... we can't take it for granted that it'll be there every year as his body is really becoming beat in recent years, it's not even so much his age either because many wrestlers have wrestled well over 48 years old, but with Wrestlemania 30 coming up, and we're all expecting a big challenge with this one ... do most people here feel that Wrestlemania 30 will be the final match for The Undertaker before he retires?

Also with it being 21-0, I think people expected it to end there too ... plus, doesn't The Undertaker still need to get his revenge on The Shield? How will this happen and how will this fit in before or after Wrestlemania?

Not for a streak match of course, but surely he needs to get his revenge from the way they beat him at the Smackdown show in the UK ... thoughts?

Sounds weird at first, but honestly, the Undertaker vs the Shield I think is one of the few options the WWE has that would actually look like a legit threat. There's literally no rematch I want to see with the Undertaker, and Taker vs Brock.... I just don't see that happening, Taker would probably get injured in the match lol. I doubt the WWE would do Taker vs Cena, even McMahon knows that Cena would get boo'ed out of the building in a way that he has never experienced before.

Not keeping it real in the streets

I don't necessarily think Taker NEEDS to get revenge on the Shield. He didn't seem to be bothered when the Nexus helped Kane bury him alive back in 2010, lol.

Plus the gap is starting to close. There's the TLC PPV next month and then we're in the early part of the Road to WrestleMania as the Rumble draws near.

I think if WWE had even thought of having Taker get revenge, then he should've been advertised to appear at the Survivor Series this Sunday in the tag match involving the Shield.

"They will LIE to you, she said. They will try to DENOUNCE you, she said. They will try to STEAL your gift, and she was right. Sister Abigail always spoke the truth, and so do I. So when I tell you that I knew this day would come, I am NOT telling you a lie! And on this day, in this moment in time right now, this very second, I can truly say that I have the whole damn world in my hands!"

I always get sorta shot down when I've said it, but I believe WM30 will be Taker's last match, said it before WM29 tbh, I just have that feeling. Hope im wring of course and Taker gets healthy enough to make it to WM31 at least.

As far as Mania 30 being Taker's last match, I just don't know. If they go with Taker/Brock, then I say no because I still believe they're saving a match with Cena to be his last one. There HAS to be a reason why they've kept Taker and Cena apart in any feuds or storylines for all these years, and I maintain that Cena being Taker's final opponent is that reason.

Whether's it at Mania 30 or 31 just remains to be seen.

I was the same, I also thought it was strange they release The Streak DVD, only to leave off one last match too, so in theory The Streak DVD is not actually complete.

Yeah, I've also thought the Cena/Undertaker thing too being his last one, that's gonna be an intense match that will have everyone on the edge of their seats, as long as Cena doesn't win the match and defeat The Streak, I'm not sure what it would do for him, other than a great heel turn, it'd be hard to be a face after this and his merchandise sales would surely drop (something WWE depend on), so it's a tough one to call is that.

See, that's the only way that I think most people would buy Cena ending the Streak, if he turned heel. If not, then Taker should win his last match. Cena breaking the Streak does nothing for him. It'd be like some billionaire just tossing another million dollars into a room full of gold and mountains of cash. If anyone were to break the Streak, it should be someone who would benefit from that kind of major exposure and someone who the company has a long-term investment in for the next decade or so.

Still, I would hate for the Streak to end just so Cena would finally turn heel and make the Internet happy.

100% .. also, as it's known in wrestling, when you're hanging up your boots you often put someone over, who will carry the company for the next ten years, or benefit the company within being a huge draw etc.. to take over where The Undertaker left off kinda thing .... that isn't even needed with Cena either, so for him to beat The Streak .... wouldn't really do much in the long run.

Re: Undertakers revenge on The Shield, and is WM30 the final match?

I already said this in your other thread but I don't think it's necessary. They didn't have a problem having Taker just move on to Triple H and completely ignore the fact that Nexus "took him out" on that one RAW, and I doubt they'll have a problem with doing that again this time.

It would be nice, but I kinda've doubt it.
