Re: Best WWE debut of all time?

Y2J, epic, memorable, great hype, and entertaining as fuck

"Denizens of duress, people of longing, poor forgotten children of despair! Fear not! JACK RISING is here! Savior of kings, champion of masses, the memory of the world, theee greatest wrastler you have nee-ver seen, has come down from his white steel trojan horse, to bring greatness to your lives! On the first day I say let there be wrastlin, on the 2nd day power slams, the 3rd day mighty elbow drops, the 4th day chair shots, the 5th day let the children dream, the men scream, and the women cream! the 6th day let there be thunderous applause, and on the 7th day I do not REST! Bloodied and broken, from the mat to the turnbuckle, to the fans in the stands I yell LET THERE BE MORE! Rise to it chump." (my promo)

Now Top
1 Bryan
2 Y2J
3 Punk

Then Top
1 Bret
2 Y2J
3 Savage

It really is Kane or Jericho with all things considered.

Honorable mentions:

nWo @ No Way Out 2002 (Just so many emotions for this Hulkamaniac. It was surreal to me)

Eric Bischoff @ RAW 2003 (Is this really happening?)

Raven @ Unforgiven 2000 (I was just stoked to finally see him in the WWF)

DDP @ RAW 2001 (Loved the build-up/ revealing but DDP deserved better)

Big Show @ St. Valentine's Day Massacre

Scott Steiner @ Survivor Series 2002

More recently: The Wyatt Family. It gave me chills.

NWO (aka 'the poison') at No Way Out 2002, I loved it.
DDP 2001, stalking Undertaker's wife
Goldberg 2003, loved that also
Wyatt family, was completely eery and different
The Shield, marked out like a baby when I saw Dean Amrbose and Rollins

Kane. When you yank off a cell door from the hinges and make a man like the Undertaker your bitch, you made the greatest debut of all time.

Re: Best WWE debut of all time?

I still remember Kane's intro, it was pretty obvious he was coming out if you watched the promo's leading up to the match but was still epic as hell. I honestly didn't think there was any way the Undertaker was going to beat him. I liked Y2J's promo but he pretty much jobbed in it, so I can't really count it.

Re: Best WWE debut of all time?

I believe Jericho has said his debut promo was terrible. At the time he thought he nailed it and was so hyped heading to the back given the crowd pop/reax but Vince buried it to his face how he didn't come off like a star and was whiny and goofy and how he basically blew it. Jericho says he had no idea what Vince was talking about then, but he looks back on it now and can see exactly what Vince saw in it and that Vince was 100% right.

Re: Best WWE debut of all time?

Idk if it's the best, but definitely the most memorable one to me has to be Brock Lesnar. As soon as I saw him I automatically became a fan

Current Favs: R.K.O, Sheamus, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, Sin Cara, The Usos, Tyson Kidd
