Re: Least charismatic wrestlers of all time

I might as well bring up that Jack Swagger, while being my favorites of favorites, does lack in the charisma department. He's had his moments where he's cut good promos and he and Cesaro certainly compliment each other and have gotten up in the charisma department together. Their body langugage with one another shows all the charisma they need as a team

However, I feel the more athletic wrestlers (such as Jack who is obviously an athlete first and foremost and has little experience in entertainment) suffer from either being given the wrong gimmick or being heel when they should be face and vice versa.

Orton has a lot of in ring psychology and a ton of charisma too, I think a lot of people think charisma just means mic work .. but it doesn't ... which is the same with Axel ... as mentioned above in previous replies, Curtis Axel has charisma, but again, it gets tedious repeating all the time to those who only wanna know their own opinions, or follow a trend.
I agree with you, 100%. A person can still be incredibly charismatic just by their body language and presence without having to utter a word. I think that's the problem with booking sometimes - people are booked for the charisma in their ringwork/appearance when they should have their mic skills accented more often and the reverse.

STFU, you can't say that, he had improved a lot now in wrestling wise. And you can never say that he had no charisma. Are you reacting to him?

The thing is about Jack Swagger is he's seemed to have been stuck in a rut for a while now, probably since his time with the whole Ziggler/Vickie angle he was involved in, he was then pretty much used as a jobber for ages after that, took some time out off screen, came back slightly repackaged, looking quite impressive too (I remember his first match on his return being more aggressive, which was good!) ... and then he was put into this whole Real Americans angle, which compliments him well and works well (Plus he's got a fantastic partner in Cesaro and Zeb really helps create heat) ... but with the way Swagger came back, with that more aggressive side to him ... he could have been a good contender to be put into some higher feud ... rather than being held back in a tag team situation.

I dunno, I think there is more to come from Jack Swagger though to be honest, once he breaks out of this tag team thing (which again, isn't a bad thing, it's the best thing WWE have given him in a long time now), but when he's his own soldier again ... if also booked right, he could be pretty fierce and be some good competition for people.

Talent at it's finest ... influencing generations that will shine through the years.

I agree, he really should have held the WHC for at least a couple months, but he and Ziggler both got shafted when it came to holding that title this year.
I really want to see he and Cesaro shine after the Real Americans, but I can't see them doing anything with Swagger besides reducing him to a heel Ryder. The ONLY thing I could see them doing with Swagger that could possibly make him over is by making him face - that's it. The fans just do NOT like him and putting him with someone like Cesaro who people adore really isn't helping his cause.
I am a very pessimistic Swagger fan, haha.
