This is the thing, most people are going by what they've seen with Axel's booking and his scripted work he's been given in recent times and not noticing what he's doing currently outside of the scripted work either.

It's nice to see though that others are actually seeing this here, I don't think anyone has really doubted his in ring work (He has one of the best drop kicks on the roster at the moment, and along with Ziggler and Rollins, he's also one of the best sellers too) ... it's this charisma thing that's the big misconception here.

Yeah, well to be honest, I'd like to see him keep the title for a while but with stronger booking .. before he loses it ... however that said, if he loses the title .... which obviously he will at some point soon, he has had a good run with it, so I won't be overly disappointed ... just as long as they continue to allow Axel to grow within the company I think is the main thing, cause he has a lot of potential.

Bobby Lashley. If he had even a tiny bit of charisma he would have been huge.

To be fair, although I wouldn't put Cody Rhodes as not being charismatic (He is!!!), when he was doing his masked gimmick ... he was pretty dull .... you don't need to bite the persons head off because they don't think your favourite wrestler has a lot of charisma, just state your reasons for disagreeing with a valid point.

Cody Rhodes I feel however, has been the most improved wrestler this year, specially his in ring work, it's phenomenal right now!

Axel is a black hole of charisma. Not sure why people say he has the charisma of a brick wall when he actually has less charisma than a brick wall. Guy has developed quite the reputation of killing the crowds. Only good things about him are his manager, his father and his theme song. He's nothing more than a bland and generic CAW come to life. Can't wait until WWE puts an end to this failed experiment.

Plenty of other uncharismatic tools too. Del Rio, Khali, Swagger, Tensai, etc.

Kinda figured I'd walk into an Orton mention. I'd recommend you double-check the word "charisma" because it's definitely not a synonym for the word "mic-skills." Never was, never is and never will be. Yeah, Orton sucks on the mic but he still generates big reactions from the crowd both as face and heel. I remember the time he was directionless for years yet still came out to some of the biggest pops.

Agreed. I hope they don't just drop him or reduce him to a jobber like so many people want. Like you said, he has potential if given the right booking and room to grow.

Absolutely, talent need more creative freedom also, although I can see where people come from in regards to Orton being bland (I think it's his tone that does it, but then again Reigns has the same tone) ... but I felt like Orton was also held back with this whole situation, specially as a face ... as now that he's done his heel turn, he's seriously improved with everything and seems a lot more comfortable.

Orton has a lot of in ring psychology and a ton of charisma too, I think a lot of people think charisma just means mic work .. but it doesn't ... which is the same with Axel ... as mentioned above in previous replies, Curtis Axel has charisma, but again, it gets tedious repeating all the time to those who only wanna know their own opinions, or follow a trend.
