AlienBountyHunter Presents:
World Championship - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Ric Flair
Two of the all-time greats go one on one for the World Championship. Ric Flair is on the roll of his life and in his prime, defeating Triple H for the title before retaining it against The Undertaker. But can he tame the rattlesnake? Stone Cold has walked into the company with no fear and has vowed to open a can of whoop ass on Flair and take his World Title. Flair has avoided a beatdown from Austin so far, but has stated he’s saving his energy for the match and isn’t afraid of Austin. Flair says that he’s beaten better men then Austin in the past and he’ll prove once and for all that he is the greatest of all time when he makes him tap to the Figure Four. Fans have been split down the middle on this match, and the atmosphere is bound to be electric when these two icons are alone in the middle of the ring. This match isn’t just about the World Title, it’s about who is the greatest icon in professional wrestling. Is it The Texas Rattlesnake or is it The Nature Boy? Who will walk out of the biggest match of all time with the World Championship?
Triple H vs The Undertaker (Loser Must Retire)
The stakes have never been higher as these two lock horns for the final time, as the loser must retire. Neither man has said much in the build up to this match, with the atmosphere and big fight feel generating itself due to fans wondering who’s final match it will be. With the bout not taking place at Wrestlemania, does that give more of a chance to The Game? Or does that take the pressure away from The Deadman? Whatever happens, it will be intense and fans will surely be treated to a fantastic moment when one of these greats leaves the ring for the final time.
Tag Team Championship Triangle Ladder Match - London/Kendrick (WWE) vs Rhyno/Tajiri (ECW) vs Vampiro/Storm (WCW)
Three teams, each representing one of the classic ‘big three’ companies will battle it out in a triangle ladder match not only for the Tag Team gold, but to prove which company really was the most innovative in dangerous matches. London and Kendrick, the current tag team champions, may not have been around during wrestling’s peak period at the turn of the millennium, but they have more than proved their own in the tag team division. One of the most entertaining teams around, they have promised to fly the flag for WWE and prove to the world that they would have fitted in seamlessly during the ‘attitude era’. Rhyno and Tajiri, two men that have been in other companies during their careers, will represent ECW and may be the favourites going into this match due to ECW’s notorious use of weapons a violence. They should feel right at home among carnage and despite being a bit of a mismatch team, they know how to get the job done. Finally, representing WCW, it’s the oddball team of Vampiro and Lance Storm. Storm may have only been in WCW for around a year, but he has somehow managed to tick off the diehard ECW fans by claiming that he’d rather WCW return than the Philadelphia-based company, and will be representing WCW along with Vampiro. Perhaps the underdogs in this match, they could surprise a few people. Which company will come out on top?
Two out of Three Falls Match - John Morrison w/Melina vs Shelton Benjamin
Possibly the two most athletic stars in wrestling today will finally settle the score in what should be a fascinating contest – a two out of three falls match. Both these men have mutual respect, but recently each man has had the urge to try and out-do the other. Fans have been treated to amazing acts of athleticism in death-defying moments from these two in recent weeks as they try to prove who is the more entertaining, athletic and daring of the two. After a one-fall match went to a non-contest a few weeks ago, this match was set up to finally put to bed the disagreements between them. The egos of both Morrison and Benjamin could fill a room, not to mention with Melina alongside Morrison, but who will walk out with their head held high?
Steel Cage Match - Rey Mysterio vs Samoa Joe
Rey Mysterio is wrestling’s ‘biggest little man’ and he’ll have to prove that this Sunday because Samoa Joe has it in for him. Rey’s connection with the fans has had Joe seething, and countless vicious attacks have only helped gain Mysterio support. Last week Joe ranted about Mysterio’s place in wrestling, demanding to know why Rey has been more successful than he has despite Joe claiming to be a better athlete, a better wrestler and having more charisma than Rey. Joe has only come off sounding disgruntled and whiny while Rey has been nursing the injuries suffered from Joe’s attacks, though Joe got his way when this match was made a steel cage bout. Joe suggests that Mysterio will now have nowhere to run when he’s locked inside with a “300 pound wrecking ball.” Can Mysterio prove Joe wrong and defeat The Samoan Submission Machine, or will Joe be proved right that Rey should never have been a bigger star than him?
Intercontinental Championship - Bam Bam Bigelow vs Gangrel vs Jim Neidhart vs Super Crazy
The IC Title is up for grabs in a fatal four way match. Four men that haven’t been able to hit the heights in the company yet will hope to take one step up that ladder by capturing the title. Champion Jim Neidhart’s recent victory means the momentum is with him, but there is no champions advantage in a fatal four way, where anyone can be pinned or made to submit. Each man involved in this have very little in common inside the ring and out of it, so luck may become a factor as to who walks out the Intercontinental Champion.
Christian vs Tazz
There will be a big clash of styles when these two meet on Sunday. Tazz, the experienced and ruthless submission technician, goes up against Christian, known for his arrogance and in-ring stamina, and also a dab hand with a steel chair. These two have locked horns recently backstage and in the ring over a number of issues, and neither is backing down. A match that’s simply about who is better, which man will persevere and retain the bragging rights?
Ironman Match - Daniel Bryan (c) vs Kurt Angle - WWE Championship
