Re: The Endless Storyline
After the power was restored, the man had a lovely ham sandwich, and later discovered the monks next door were having yet another stag party with the upcoming assigning of a new pope. Returning afterwards to his wife on the couch, the two caressed one another as they drifted to sleep, as old WrestleManias played on the television before them. Tomorrow would surely be a brand new day for Mr. Damnit, unlike the melancholy barely kept away from him by his soul mate.
Meanwhile, John Cena slowly opened his right eye, only to quickly shut it again as he found he was underwater. During his moments with no vision, he reflected on the last memory. Every bullet casing beating off of his skin, and then final going through his left eye. The last image of a masked man firing that flash into him was unbearable; he couldn't remain in his current state of thoughts without interruption for much longer.
Cena slowly opened this eye, and somehow felt no pain whatsoever. Looking around his surroundings, John found himself in a round tank. It bore a very light blue hue within it. On the outside, on the other side of the glass, he saw various people in lab coats celebrating and cheering. A blur of various green flashes far in the back caught his attention the most.
He tried to move forward for a closer look at what was going on, but as he shifted his left arm, Cena stopped dead in his tracks. It had dawned on him that there was no feeling in his left arm, instead feeling like his whole torso was carrying something very heavy. Titling his head downwards, to his horror, John found no classical Cena bicep adorned in sweatbands, but rather a metal arm, that was seemingly moving on conjunction with torso.
Cena slowly lifted his right hand up to his face, and felt common skin on his right cheek. But as felt the other, it too was...
(TL;DR: Mr. Damnit prepares for tomorrow with his wife, while Cena awakens in a lab with the left side of his body being robotic.)
