T'was pretty fun. Skybar was ok, just rammed beyond belief which made for some unwanted hassle trying to juggle Guinness in each hand. Oh god whiskey. On my 21st I ventured into Spoons having already had 9 pints and 4 shots, before downing a drink given to me and then told it was 6 shots of whiskey. It's alright, most of us are fucking idiots, anyway. None of them have seen me at the absolute height of my chaotic degeneracy, though. I'm saving that for one of their funerals.

I've never really been someone that'll go out places with people I work with, since it wasn't until last year that I started working in the one place permanently. Ever since I left uni I've worked all over the place, but never really in the one place as a "home base" of sorts. At least, I hadn't worked with anybody in those other places long enough to want to go out with them to a club or a pub with any sort of regularity (although that's largely down to the fact I'm a bit of a grumpy cunt and don't like hanging around with people I don't really know). Never did the Christmas night out thing with people I work with until last year. That's when you really get to know people. I wouldn't quite say that the people I work with now are "my kind of people" (well...one or two are) but they're close enough.

Its one of the finest. Bob's wonderful as this cocky, extravagant gangster who thinks he's the bees knees before his plans for expansion attract unwanted attention and suddenly he has to face the very real possibility he'll be killed. Final scene in particular is some immense acting from Hoskins.
