I escorted my teenage nephew and his mates to a Paramore gig a few years back, hadnt heard much from them before and they werent the worst bar a horrific Loretta Lynn cover in the middle.
Dont really get the big attraction to that girl but then I live in Dublin, vaguely pretty, pale redheads are a dime a dozen, the crowd at the gig however was a good 75% female and majority were faaaar more striking than the girl onstage. Spent most of it pervin on a gang of birds sitting in front of me.

Hanoi Cheyenne I recall on my only prior visit to Dublin spotting a chavy lesbian tonguing her girlfriend in public, before slapping her on the arse and telling her to jog on. It honestly felt like something out of Oz with Schillinger and Beecher.

There was a cracking Irish bar we visited though. Good music and selection of local drinks. Rammed completely though.

I used to be able to go out and drink and snort whatever they put in front of me and still be able to get up the next morning and make lectures. I was still able to do it after I'd left uni (or "dropped out," if you will) and make work the next day as well. Now I don't snort anything at all and I can barely suffer through a day of work if I've been out the night before. I can get by on piddly amounts of sleep, even if I'd rather not. But if I'm going on piddly amounts of sleep and I'm also hungover/have been drinking the night before...forget about it. First comment someone makes about my bloodshot eyes...dead. I'll fucking murder them. I can't take that horse shit. Just leave me in peace and don't speak to me. I should be in bed right now, not putting up with your cretinous behaviour.

Tbf Andy I don't think there's ever one constant bit of discussion here. We seem to have numerous conversations on the go at any point.

I know people that drank the night before an exam, I'm talking heavily as well. To the point where they they were popping tic tacs the next morning to cover their breath and stench of alcohol. I think if I drank heavily I was pretty much unable to make an early lecture, though my lectures and drinking schedule was usually pretty favourable with all my afternoon lectures coming the day after the more heavier nights.

This is it Andy, hangovers just get worse and worse when you get older, the very thought of THE FEAR is enough to keep me away from the offie most nights now, the day after is an automatic write-off.

I don't want to be 'that guy' and say some generic Irish sounding name, but I know it wasn't far from the University. Talking maybe 10-15 minutes walk. Hardly specific, but it was last March and my memory isn't that good with things I should be remembering.
