I watched Crocodile Dundee a million times as a kid, hadnt seen it since and it was on tv over christmas, yknow the scene where the guy is snorting coke and Dundee thinks he's got a cold, I always did thought he actually did have a cold, that scene makes a lot more sense now.

Mayor Frederick Jones Sr.: Fred Jr.'s illegal "father" in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, voiced by Gary Cole. In Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated Fred's fake father is the mayor of Crystal Cove. He is self-centered and more interested in his status as town mayor and keeping the town's tourist industry going, something he tries to force on his son. In the season finale, it is revealed Mayor Jones was masquerading as a monster known as "the Freak of Crystal Cove", and is the person responsible for the disappearance of the original Mystery Incorporated 20 years prior. In order to make sure two members never returned, he kidnapped Fred as an infant as blackmail, raising him as his own son

Re: Tell The Truth
Swinger girl in Recess saying there was 'a whole convention of swingers in town' sounded far more innocent when I watched it years ago compared to when I rewatched old episodes on Youtube last year. There was also an uncomfortable moment when a mom mispronounced TJ's name as 'BJ', but said it in a rather seductive voice.

I'm watching the Hanna Barbera era episodes atm, but holy fuck at that description. Scooby Doo should be fun, not featuring baby kidnappings.

Re: Tell The Truth
Yeah I'm currently doing a training course so have a good balance between doing work and then being able to relax for a while. Been in a pure nostalgia mood hence the Scooby Doo viewing.
Recess was the dogs bollocks. Amazed me how smart a show it was for a child audience. Lot of interesting themes to take away from a number of episodes. Plus it was also genuinly funny a lot of the time.

Re: Tell The Truth
Yeah he seems to be on the mend. Got a bit emotional yesterday with me, basically apologising in case he thought he'd worried me. Daft sod. Told him he shouldn't be feeling bad.
Sadly his taste for average movies still exists. Saw the DVDs he's sampled from the local rental store, let's just say a lot leaves to be desired.
