Re: Tell The Truth
How long has it been since the last Storytime with Craig? Feels too long. He's an artist though, he's sensing the calm before the storm, waiting for the moment to regale us with tales of copious amounts of alcohol, the time he was coerced into going to the shops and didn't return for 4 days and many more depraved tales. Did the 15 year old girl who broke into halls and dragged umpteen men into the bogs for a cheeky fumble change her ways and become a devote Christian? These are the things we must know man.

Just imagine, later tonight (1.35am here) its Community Season fucking 4 baby!

I'll stick with my vast imagination spanning Avantasia to speak to me through song.
I already was badgering my brother over how much I can't wait for it to be 8:00 PM tomorrow. COMMUNITY. Then after I calmed down, I uttered the words: "Annie's boobs" under my breath.

Re: Tell The Truth
Born To Run which themematically leads into Darkness at The Edge of Town. Tunnel of Love is pretty different from anything else THE BOSS has done but at the same time is maybe the most personal and best thing he ever wrote. You could maybe start with The Wild The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle. If you like that you'll appreciate BTR & Darkness more. Plus Rosalita (Come Out Tonight!) is probably the most fun song THE BOSS ever did.
BTR is about the hopeful escape from being young and becoming an adult and all that could potentially be and Darkness is like "growing up can kinda suck" after the world beats you down.
The River is an interesting album because its kinda fucking skitzo and has some really sad shit and some pop music mixed together.

Re: Tell The Truth
COMMUNITY is like THE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN of shows that have ever been on NBC.

Re: Tell The Truth
Yeah Community is wacky, absurd, features insane and unheard of plots and episodes based in different realities but it all ties into the close circle of friends that makes up 'the study group'. All the main characters have an identity and connection with the others that allows them to play off of one another with consumate ease. There's smart humour, clever puns, pop culture references, visual and physical comedy as well as absurd yet hilarious images. It really has just about everything to appeal to an audience. If you like strong writing, carefully handled characters and care taken into creating this surreal and bizare universe called Greendale you'll dig it. If you like quirky and unconventional humour such as 30 Rock you'll love it. If you just want creative, daring and humorous entertainment you'll dig it.

Re: Tell The Truth
Thunder Road for me. Gripping, pulsating, gives me hope, inspiration and just makes me hang on his every word. The acoustic version Mike or Andy linked....just indescribable.

Cool. I wrote those down and I'm within the paper's grasp, so I'll be getting those when the time comes. Need to expand my taste in music.
