Re: Tell The Truth
The comment about women in pants drives me back to the 60's. All of those dames in dresses and having to only look professional in that one way. Hard to imagine that was once the norm in the world. Well, I guess for the western side. We all know women get shit all in areas like the Middle East.

Re: Tell The Truth
A man in a "dress" is kinda odd to be fair and i'm open minded!!. Unless he is on a stag night or it's fancy dress then no i can't imagine it!
Imagine going dress shopping and have your man prance round the changies in his tight one piece off the shoulder. I'd be in bits laughing. I'm actually laughing now!
Kilts are more masculine aren't they. I'd be happy with that. Skirts are cool.
Fashion Week is madness but fun to see. Just have to take it on the chin.

Sneaky? They leave a brother when they need them most and they hide in wardrobes. We all know Family Guy is legit with that one.
Gonna go and make me a cracking bowl of cereal, who needs to be able to cook when you can pour milk on cereal

Yeah, I'm soooooo making some tomorrow now. I make BOMB french toast at that. (don't know how it couldn't be good, but I'll put myself over for the hell of it)
Family Guy: the unofficial authority on monkeys. I saw a memo saying that's legit.
That's right, you go tell society off. Who needs to cook? CEREAL AND PROCESSED DINNERS 4 LIFE, BROTHER.

Right? I wonder how long it will take for Middle Eastern society to adopt at least moderate social views, and rid of the religious dogma that is so engrained in the cultural fabric? I'm really wonder what is holding them back from ending their oppression.

A man would probably get their ass beat if they wore a dress openly out in public, at least in America.
Mind you, there are still quite a few people who label men's scarves or the urban-conscious "hipster" look as effeminate.

Considering you're going to school to study cooking, it's only fair you put yourself over
Cereal at 5am or night time in general > cereal anytime of the day.

I think you said it in your question. Their religious views. That's the answer. They seem to be so keen on the extremes that it brings that I can't imagine any major changes over there in light for women to get some form of freedom. And some of those women are beautiful too. Why on earth would you want to cover up the beauty? I never understood it. Bad enough the logic behind it is religion. It's like a double whammy on my pet peeves list.
Oh, yeah. A guy would totally be trashed if he wore a dress in non-comical fashion. Not saying I would ever, but I wouldn't say I care. It's a dress. Means nothing to me. It's bad enough anytime I want to do something with my nails a whole slew of shit comes my way. I'm never oppressed, but fuck. Why do it when all I get is constant flack. Hate myself for not having the balls. Which so isn't like me in the first place. (but a clear manicure is perfectly acceptable. wtf?)
Yeah, this might surprise some who read it. Oh well. I'm a flamboyant guy. (I say this as I'm wearing pajama bottoms and an oversized DC jacket. So out there with my fashion sense.)

Re: Tell The Truth
As previously stated, an American would have to be brave to be seen in the daylight like that, unless he's rocks the look with zero fucks.

Oh God, YES. I just can't stand double standards in general.
Let me perch, because this is turning into a rant.

Most men like having nice nails. Girls like it too. Nothing worse than a lad with manky nails as it disgusts me in all honesty.

Go right ahead. I'm about to do the same.
Nothing fucks my mind more than something like that. I always say "nobody will care. I'm simply a random guy doing my thing." Then I go through with it and good lord. Really got under my skin when my brother - someone who understands me - was part of it. If anyone would have been on my side (maybe not cared for it, but you know had my back) it should have been him. Or so I thought. My mom didn't seem too flattered by it either. And these are OPEN MINDED PEOPLE btw. So fuck. If I stumbled into a church somewhere in the South, well, there goes the rest of my days.
