Lawler's AWA work I've gotten familiar with. That's a territory I've gotten through a good portion of. Really does seem as if all I have left to tackle is Memphis & Mid-South classics. AHHHHHHH I was legit going to ask you to also send me any form of a link to the Eaton/Koko vs Cobra/Mantell tag, but you proceeded in telling me it was removed. Soul crushing. You should know by now that I'm for ANYTHING Eaton has to offer. I fucking adore that man and his work. I'm not particularly big on the Moondogs. I could see a brawl with them working of course. Of course their opponents turn out to be the Fabulous Ones, so there is a silver lining right there. (think you can piece together why I'm such a fan of Eaton & Lane era Midnight Express, huh?)
FLAIR Oh shoot, the Murdoch vs Reed stuff you told me about. I knew Butch Reed had to come up in here. I might not be on Andy levels of marking for him (yet) but I've always wanted to see his territory days. I'll ask despite departing atm - any JYD goodness from Mid-South? Almost certain he was their World Champion at one time. Oh and Buzz Saywer in something violent? Color me not shocked. Man is insane.
This is beautiful information. It seems like my 2010 kick might be replaced. I thought it was going to be by early 90's WWF (I relived King of the Ring '93 tonight - <3 Lawler - & wanted to watch EVERYTHING involving Bourne's time as Doink b/c I think the world of it.) only now it might have to be more of these territories. So, with that being said I'm out for now. Busy tomorrow and I'll be back to check out the scaffold match whenever I can. Cheers, WC. (and the rest of the good natured lads of TTT.)

Best JYD match off memory from Mid South is the tag team Loser Leaves Town Match: Junkyard Dog & Mr. Olympia vs. Ted DiBiase & Matt Borne (Loser Leaves Town) 10/27/82
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqQAUgyRb_4 (part 1)

When I get the comps from Seabs and Cal there's a chance I could try my hand at uploading the tag, though I have a feeling that could be pretty disastrous.
As for Butch Reed: when the final poll was done for Mid South these turned up as his best matches:
Butch Reed vs. Dick Murdoch 9/22/85
Mr. Wrestling II & Magnum T.A. vs. Butch Reed & Jim Neidhart (Cage Match) 12/25/83
Butch Reed vs. Dick Murdoch 10/14/85
Ric Flair vs. Butch Reed 8/10/85
Andy as you said is a huge fan of Reed, and no doubt he'd be able to provide a greater list of Reed matches which are worth your time than I can based off of memory.
Can't forget Murdoch/Windham 7/11/87 either, amazing match.

Re: Tell The Truth
I'll fake going to bed with the reply that any territories that aren't Crockett affiliated taking my money would certainly be a change for me. Been looking to expand anyways. Fuck me though. I can't get enough of the goodness pumped out by Crockett's during time.
Dusty Rhodes & Barry Windham (plus nearly everyone else)
Oh, WOOLCOCK you're a wonder. And one of the JYD matches has Bourne in it too. Fantastic.

If I put another Megapost up then I promise it'll be a Mid South or Memphis one. I actually did a Memphis one once but all the links are dead now.

I do wish that Italy could be more competitive to not make the concept appear to be a walkover when teams face them though, and I guess my main negative on the tournament is that it's only single tie, i.e no reverse fixtures. Is there any reason to that, as in, effecting domestic seasons or going into the spring? We do it for the Rugby Championship down here and for mine it provides a grander spectacle.

Being Welsh there's not many times we can take pride in a sporting accomplisment, but rugby is just such an easy and interesting sport to follow/appreciate. Adore the 6 Nations, always get good games against Ireland and recently Scotland, France is always nervy and England is obviously a personal but largely more respectful rivalry than when they meet in football. Agreed about Italy, they show promise but they're a clear way behind the rest and its a shame they're guaranteed to finish last barring Scotland having a terrible campaign and losing the deciding match to them.
Tbh Mav I couldn't tell you why they do the format that they do. I assume it is based around the domestic campaign and resulting Heineken Cup, but I'm not overly familiar with the historical developments and format behind the game beyond the basic areas. It does certainly make the games more interesting and crucial with one game being pivotal in altering the direction of the competition, though I do wish it was longer instead of being over before we know it.
Yeah I loosely try and watch the Austrialia/New Zealand/South Africa games whenever they're on. Always good to watch as a neutral given the talent in the sides and how even though NZ generally are expected to win you can never discount the Aussies or SA getting a big win. Time zone makes it impossible generally for me to watch the entire game, but I'll always try and make an effort to record it or catch extended highlights later in the day.

I'll hopefully place my order to you and cal within the next two weeks, allocating my xmas money and what I have left over to spend as most of it will likely be going towards a summer holiday which my mate insists we'll be booking mid-late February.
Ah Eric Pollard, the 2nd greatest Eric I know. After the obvious of course.

Re: Tell The Truth
Yeah Seabs, the moment I get expendable cash it's going straight to you bud. That Liger set will be mine.
(don't hold your breath though )
ok, shoot I'm out. Dreamland comes as I choose to find and view random Bob Backlund and Louie Spicolli matches.

Re: Tell The Truth
Smiled like a man man when I saw it Seabs, if there's anything on earth I love more than PHIL MITCHELL'S CRACK ADDICTION
It's the ability to make references to it on a wrestling forum. Also I'm still unsure why I never had HOBO IAN BEALE as a username anywhere

PHIL MITCHELL DOOR DESTROYER.
Ian Beale in drag for Comedy Relief imitating 'I Want to Break Free' is one of the more lasting visuals I've seen. Not sure if its because of the hilarity behind it, or the terror of the visual imprinted in my memory.

Re: Tell The Truth
Wait, Phil Mitchell has a crack addiction? OMG YES! Maybe I should watch the show just for it.
Craig, Woolcock or Seabs, any of you British fuckers watch Spaced? Re-watching it at the minute, it's class.
