Late
My post wasn't an attack on mainstream music nor was it a remark on hating anything that becomes popular. I hate those "I saw them when there was only 12 people in the crowd and now everyone likes them and I hate them" people. Unless I find the band's musical change jarring, I'm fine with their new found success. When I mentioned getting sick of certain bands/songs, I meant being overplayed. I've heard Smells Like Teen Spirit so many times, it's losing its replay value. As of now All Apologies is my new favourite Nirvana song. I know the radio plays stuff that's popular, but hearing it over and over gets tiring. |
