I've always enjoyed Neil Young's stuff. Like someone said, he can be all over the place, but he's also written one of the greatest anthemic rock songs ever with Rockin' in the Free World.

When he played with Pearl Jam in the mid-90s (MTV awards show) on that tune is when I first got into him. Eddie Vedder singing the vocals of that song is one of my favourite musical moments.

I wouldn't put him on Springsteen or Dylan's level though.

Anyone know how busy/worthwhile it is on here during a PPV? Usually fast asleep for them but I was online during last Monday's Raw and the chaos of the discussion thread was pretty fun. Plus I was pissed which helped.

Nowt on tomorrow so I'm thinking of staying up and watching the Rumble live. Will have finished my beers before it starts so I'll only have a bottle of Jim Beam to keep me company though.

That might not end well.

You'll probably get a sea of database errors throughout the night, especially around Punk/Rock and the Rumble itself. Sigs and avys will be off, but I imagine it should be pretty entertaining if the usual suspects arrive and post some funny stuff. Punk/Rock and the aftermath will be worth staying up for. Guaranteed to be a sea of bitching and moaning from either side.

The aftermath of Punk/Rock will be such a grand experience. I was deprived of my rage comments last Monday (bar the ones aimed at Cena) so this will surely be a delightful replacement.

If I just sit and watch the rumble then I'm probably going to fall asleep during it, men in their pants pretending to fight just doesn't rivet me as it used to, but posting on here during the ads/boring bits would keep me awake. I'll probably be wankered by the time the actual rumble and Rock/Punk starts though, and knowing myself I'll probably start trolling.

Problem is, what I noticed last Monday, there's so many replies in the thread that if you post something inflammatory, then it's a pain in the arse to read through and find people answering you.

It seems so long away now that I probably won't make a decision until the show actually starts anyway.
