I have to admit every time I come across an Alison Brie gif which is delicious I loathe myself for being unable to put it in my sig so I can regale at its beauty when I feel at my lowest ebb. I guess realistically the only bonuses I'd get from premium is the chatbox and the ability to use gifs in my sig. I can easily see myself subbing the money eventually, but 3 years of student life taught me to scrounge and save the pennies: in which case relying on a contest appeals to my cheap ways

Truth: Mafia is actually very interesting once you get the basic jist of the game.

edit: pretty sure Cody's growing presence in the WWE section and rants has sprung a mini following of some sort. Or more people are in need of corrective lens surgery, tbhayley.

I find mafia interesting due to things that other people probably don't care about. I just find it fun to see how people play when they're mafia/town, the way they try to manipulate/lie, their thoughts and play style, the way people react to my own play style/thoughts, etc. idk, things like that have always made it fun for me.

the biggest downside of mafia, imo anyways, is that once you actually become good you hardly get to play anymore and it's rather annoying.

Yeah I only read a couple of the most recent games to get a general understanding, but it is interesting to analyse a post and just watch certain posters for a period and try to pick up on any hint/query you find in their post. Imagine being a more senior player it definitely becomes more interesting like you said when players get to know each other and have to alter their style or try and manipulate those wise to their style of play.

^^^you just get killed really early in games. I had a stretch where I didn't make it past night 3 I think for a couple of months.

you should totally read A GAME OF THRONES mafia as it was pure quality, and not only because I was part of the scum team that dominated.

Having to adapt in the game is always fun and the calculated risks you have to take. Like, for example, better players need to make sure they say their reads at the right time otherwise the scum team will just kill them off and ensure they can never push them, so faking a read to make them keep you around is always a fun tactic.

Yeah I saw GOT mafia get a mention in the current game, will likely give it a read when the current game ends. Yeah I can imagine the risks involved if you're a more established player with a more trustworthy/accurate read.
