kind of as annoying as the two bitches that post in their status how unhappy they are with life, and they're boyfriend and girlfriend.

It's just facebook. Either you use it to interact with people you actually like or to be considered popular. No one forces you to add someone on facebook or to keep them as a friend. The delete option is there.

tbf there's the 3rd option of putting them on your ignore list so you still have x amount of friends but you can't see their bullshit. only used it twice. once was when a mate just broke up with his girl and i didn't want to read the shit he was posting on facebook at the time, and another who kept having fucking farmville and other games pop up in my news feed. that shit annoys me the most.

Well, if you don't want to deal with their bullshit temporarily then, that is a good strategy. However, if the person is always getting on your nerves then isn't it a better option to delete him/her?
