You know what I was LEGIT inquiring today?

How much would it cost me to make Iron Sheik my manager once I step foot on the indy scene?

Back to Theater as a major though. In all seriousness do you need to spend a ton of money to get a degree in this?

The answer is no unless you're going to be on Broadway or some shit. I'm not saying don't study and practice this, but as a major it seems like overkill.

But I have to get a bachelor degree regardless, so why not get it in something that could actually help me in the future? I'm actually serous about making Professional Wrestling my career, so if you have any other recommendations in areas I could study feel free to let me know. Theater just seems like an area a guy like me would study either way. I don't see why not.

Well only you know what you love and have a passion for. I don't see Theater being that useful outside of well...the Theater. Tons of hot bitches in that major though. Lots of future wife material there, assuming you want to get married. If you don't still opportunity to get laid there.

Pros and cons man. That's a big pro.


I don't think you need a degree in Theater to be a great pro wrestler for the record though.

With the right look and gimmick you can go pretty far as a pro wrestler. Look at the undertaker.

Oh I think you should definitely pursue what you have a passion for Sheik. I'm not trying to say otherwise just to be clear.

I just don't think Theater is necessary to be a good/great pro wrestler. However, Theater could lead to something else you didn't even know you loved. You just never know.

Well what type of education in Uni would help me the most in wrestling do you think? Let's just say for the sake of argument that 5 years from now I'm established in the indies, solid worker trained under many, good look and gimmick, and WWE is scouting me out. You don't think an education would help me at all? And if so, you don't think out of all the degrees, a theatre degree would be beneficial in the ENTERTAINMENT business?

This is just hypothetical. I don't think I'll ever be in a situation like that with WWE, but it doesn't hurt to hope.

Yeah it could help, but how many guys are theater trained? It's a legit question because I don't know the answer. I assume almost none of them. What you're doing in pro wrestling doesn't need the schooling that a theater degree offers. It's overkill. Yes, it will benefit you, but you may have wasted time and money for extraneous school.

Nutrition or something to that effect might be a thing to study. This will greatly benefit you as well because you have to look good in pro wrestling. It will give you knowledge on what to avoid and what to use. Let's face it pro wrestling is notorious for poor health. It'll also give you important knowledge that you'll use for the rest of your life. Job opportunities seem like they'd be more plentiful if pro wrestling doesn't work out. It's an option. Less sexy for sure, but practical.
