Yeah I've never experienced/heard enough from both sides to spot a clear difference but I imagine it would be noticeable to people livingn in both areas.
Reminds me of the FA Youth Cup game at Anfield in early 2011. Went with a couple of lads, both of whom got kicked out for setting off a smoke bomb in the first half which meant I had to get back to Lime Street on my tod whilst trying to remember the 30-40 minute route by foot. Found a bus going there but was 10p short. Luckily some older scouser subbed me 20p and I was fine and dandy. They only ever asked where I was from as I was getting off the bus.
