You'd have to define 'British' since I wouldn't wish a scouse or brummie accent on my worst enemy. I have a soft spot for Mancunian and broad Lancashire accents. Welsh accents typically sound better on a female from my experiences (or a very effeminate male) and the East End/Cockney accent varies from cringeworthy to fine from person to person. Essex accent can also be fucking irritating on the wrong person, typically a trashy female.

I have more of a Chester/Northern accent based off of videos and people who've recorded me speak. No real twang to it but passable enough.

Oh man if TLK starts calling people a geezer and talking about going to a 'gaff' I might begin to love him even more.

Hmm, not too familiar with the variations of British accents. Basically everyone in the movie Love Actually. I want accents like them (aside from the nerdy dude who goes to America).

I should paraphrase Manc accents can be irritable, but the ones I've heard are generally ones I like and don't grate my ears. Prefer a Preston/St Helens Lancashire accent in general though.

I forgot Geordie when listing UK accents to TLK. Hilarious to hear and one of my favourites. Bristolian is also class when you get 'em talking about Cider. "I am a Cider drinker, I drinks it all of the daaaaay".

Going off memory from the time I saw Love Actually as a youngster I'm pretty sure that was more posh/sophisticated English. Not so much of a regional dialect. I generally prefer variations of Northern accents the most, but I'm biased being in the North of Wales/England.

I'll gladly take most any dialect. I'm fascinated by those accents. Being from California, I've heard enough "dude" and "like OMG" (yes, girls here talk that way) to last me a lifetime.
