Re: ESPN Fantasy Hockey

Alright, everyone has been invited and most have joined. MrMister, UDFK, Cleavage, HANK and Alim check your e-mails.

Again, check the league settings. No one comments on anything then people whine when the season's already started and claim I Castro'd the settings. COMMENT IF I FUCKED ANYTHING UP OR IF YOU'D PREFER SOMETHING BE CHANGED.

Draft as of now is set for this Saturday at 2pm ET. If you aren't available then please let that be known ASAP. Everyone seems good for that time so far.

Re: ESPN Fantasy Hockey

And on cue ESPN is doing maintenance to prepare for the season lulz. Everyone check when that is done

I'm not totally against it although PIM is pretty standard. Generally speaking though top offensive players (who will be on our rosters) don't block that many shots as they don't want to risk injury.

Re: ESPN Fantasy Hockey

I think 2 PM should be fine for me. It may be a tad close, but if there's no traffic, I should be back in time.

Re: ESPN Fantasy Hockey

yeah, I just find penalty minutes to be a lame stat for a competition like this. I'd prefer having blocked shots/faceoffs won/defensemen points in there instead tbh.

Re: ESPN Fantasy Hockey

PIM/blocked shots is pretty dirt. I don't want any plugs on my team. It should be kept simple:

- 1 point for a goal
- 1 point for an assist
- 2 points for a win
- 2 more points for a shutout

Isn't that how ESPN does it anyway?

Re: ESPN Fantasy Hockey

Well there's various scoring formats. The one assigned and I believe the default is H2H Categories. There's 11 categories. I don't remember what I have them at at the moment and can't check until maintenance is over.

We can do a H2H points or ROTO format if that is preferred...
