Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

I wish we could've had value round picks in the WF league. Don't know why the majority of people voted against it.

Me and my friends usually run a basketball league, hopefully I'll be able to convince them to make it a keeper league. Sucks because I had a great team last year.

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

Yeah it's awesome.

My VRs last year were Kyle Lowry (14th RD) and Greg Monroe (16th RD). I had to trade Lowry when he got that infection bacteria thing as I was going to the championship and I traded Monroe and a pick for Pau and Tyson Chandler a bit later in the year, both I've since traded. When you can VR players later in the draft it gives them value they wouldn't have otherwise.

The year before I traded JASON KIDD for Greg Monroe and Jordan Farmar in my rebuilding year. Such a hilarious backfire for my friend. Our league still hassles him for it all the time.

If we were able to have VR's, I would've been able to keep Kenneth Faried and Kawhi Leonard

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

Me and my mates have just picked our Fantasy Football (soccer) teams for the season following the American system where players are drafted to teams rather than the English way where theoretically everyone could have the same team. Cannot wait for the season to begin now!

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

And I'd have Jonas in the last round instead of round 5 .

And Paul George would be Round 11. Batum round 9. Chalmers the last round. Such options. Ah well.

Goran Dragic and Jeremy Lin would both be last round keepers for me.

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

Mock draft for an upcoming PPR draft.

QB - Big Ben
RB - Doug Martin
RB - Roy Helu
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Andre Johnson
TE - GRONK
FLEX - Eric Decker
K - Matt Bryant
D/ST - Detroit

BN - Stevan Ridley
BN - Mike Bush

Rest of the bench isn't really noteworthy, lost interest. I'm also somewhat considering trying for GRONK and Graham since FLEX is TE eligible. It's PPR remember.

Helu would be a no go for me. Also, if you can only get one of the top two TEs, get Graham because he catches more from Brees. Can't go wrong with either though.

Also look at Jaquizz Rodgers in a PPR league as a potential sleeper RB in the late rounds.

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

Pettigrew would be a nice later TE in PPR. Allow you to cover other positions instead of getting two TEs early.
