Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

It's a 10 team league. Just doesn't add up. Rice you have to assume was taken by pick 4 which means MJD didn't go till pick 17 and who the hell knows about Matthews.

F

In other news, me and my friends just a did made a second league, standard league w/ auction draft. I used a strict budget which could cost me if I can't trade my depth to improve my starters but even if I can't, at least injuries won't fuck me.

QB - Vick
RB - Turner
RB - R. Bush
WR - Marshall
WR - Green
TE - Finley
Flex - Martin
D/ST - Falcons
K - Akers

Bench - RG3 QB
Bench - Austin WR
Bench - Hernandez TE
Bench - Colston WR
Bench - Helu RB
Bench - Meachem WR
Bench - Roethlisberger QB

You're on the Doug Martin bandwagon. I like this bandwagon.

Can you get Jacquizz off of waivers? I'd rather have him to backup Turner than say Meachem...or Helu. Redskins RBs will make you insane.

I'd start Hernandez over Finley personally.

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

My line up isn't really set by any means. This is just the order it appeared after the draft.

I actually got Roethlisberger because I stopped paying attention for a minute and he was "autopicked" to me. Basically in the auction you select the next player to be bidded on as well as place an opening bid of $1. No one else bidded...

I plan to trade/drop him.

I want another RB. Possibly Richardson or Fred Jackson as I see them both being made available by their owners.

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

Did a draft with some friends today. Thought it went okay but I'm not overly big on my team.

QB - Phil Rivers
RB - Marshawn Lynch
RB - LAW FIRM
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Dez Bryant
TE - Aaron Hernandez
FLEX - Darrius Heyward-Bay
FLEX - Robert Meacham
K - Alex Henery
D/ST - Eagles

Bench - Peyton Hillis
Bench - DeAngelo Williams
Bench - Jared Cook
Bench - Jake Locker
Bench - Alshon Jeffery
Bench - Buffalo D/ST

Both my top RBs have big question marks on them, imo. Took a 2nd defense because my QB/D/K all have the same bye week and I figure now all I have to do is grab a K that week instead of grabbing one of each.

Drafting for my dad's work league tomorrow while he works. Hoping to make him proud.

Timothy Thatcher | Chris Hero | Scott Dawson | Dash Wilder | Roderick Strong
Summer Rae | Charlotte | Carmella | Becky Lynch | Paige

10 Team League. It's Year 2 though & we were allowed a Keeper. Ray Rice was THAT man. I grabbed Matthews AFTER the Draft in a Trade:

Blount, Santana Moss, & Roy Helu for Matthews / Greg Jennings. I think it was a profitable trade.

The Waiver Wire is deep as Hell in both those Leagues due to the IDP slots. When you have to draft a LB, DL, & DB, it leaves ALOT of talent on the Wire, not to mention the Draft.

Peppers, Lofton, Ngata, AND Polamalu? I'll be racking up points all year on those guys alone.
