re: Fantasy Football - NFL league merger!
A couple questions I do want to confirm for this league:
1) Are we able to trade draft picks like the other leagues, or are we avoiding that in Football?
2) If I were to drop Mathews, my first round pick, whoever picks him up would get him in the 16th, correct? Or did we do away with that if they were drafted in the early rounds?

2) Yes he'd be a 16th. Don't drop him. Trade him.
1) It's cash we can't use for trades. I'd rather not trade picks either, but we can talk it out. I don't want VOGELSONG for a high pick happening again. Picks for picks is ok though I reckon as long as it's not retarded. Same with picks for players maybe.

Yeah. It's just stuff I want to clear up. I'm not going to drop anyone and screw the league, even if I go 0-14.

Yeah I think picks for players is ok now too. We got the majority veto and the LM veto if we need to use it. JM what do you think?
Just keep stuff reasonable and it should be ok. I mean guys that are in your position need the option of picks for players since you've had some hard luck and it'll doubtful you can make the playoff cut at this point...or at a point that is fast approaching. It's good to be able to work for next year in a keeper league.

re: Fantasy Football - NFL league merger!
I picked Stevan Ridley in the 6th round, so if I keep him then he'll count as my 4th round pick next year right?
But a question, why do you we just have traditional keepers as in keep anyone we want? I guess maybe it works different in fantasy football than fantasy basketball but was just curious.

re: Fantasy Football - NFL league merger!
Traditional keepers take away the awesome players from the pool. Those guys should rotate on a yearly basis so everyone has a shot at them. The NFL is unique in that we only get these games once a week, so the best players are worth that much more. If you want to have a keep anyone rule you should probably just do a dynasty league, or whatever it's called where you keep everyone. The value round keeper also makes the later rounds more interesting, at least I think it does.
Yeah Ridley would be your 4th rounder if you keep him.
