Akers won't make 44 FGs most likely, but he was and still is among the top 5 kickers.

Plus picked him up off waivers early and got LUCKY. I swear he won me at least 4 games last year. In fact, during a stretch with injured bastards, he might have been my highest scorer.

I find that kickers are mostly just luck. Sure there are the good ones linked to good offenses, but sometimes you are better off rolling with a kicker on an almost there team offensively.
