Re: Fantasy Football - WF NFL League 1

why would I not be serious? that's like trading for a guy someone else picked in the 7th round while also having your own 7th round player. you can't keep both because you wouldn't be able to pick both of them in the fifth round.

They called him the Lion of Lannister to his face...

...and whispered "Kingslayer" behind his back

Re: Fantasy Football - WF NFL League 1

That's a good question. Do you have any other questions?

Undrafted players count as 16th rounders. So they would be 14th, 13th, and 12th round picks in next year's draft. I'm not opposed to hand waving the two round differential for undrafted players in the first year though. That might be more trouble than it's worth as far as keeping track of stuff however.

It does. If somehow you have two 7th rounders on your team via trade and you keep both, they count as 5th and 4th rounders in next year's draft. It'd be terrible if were forced to only keep one. It still sucks that you lose another earlier pick, but in a lot of cases it won't matter if the player is good.

I'm actually not even sure what you're talking about though UDFK. Be more specific if what I posted isn't what you mean.

Re: Fantasy Football - WF NFL League 1

So, what's the consensus? Can I keep Edelman, Wilson, and Dwyer all for next year?

Re: Fantasy Football - WF NFL League 1

Yes you can. You give up one progressively earlier pick beyond the first that you keep.

Re: Fantasy Football - WF NFL League 1

People over complicating things. MrMister is right, if you need to keep someone in the 14th and for whatever reason don't have a 14th to keep them with (already keeping someone in the 14th or traded the pick) then you keep them in the round prior.

Re: Fantasy Football - WF NFL League 1

But what if you keep three from the same round? Why not one prior and one after?

Re: Fantasy Football - WF NFL League 1

Then the progression would continue.

You don't have a 14 so you can't keep him there, you don't have a 13 so you can't keep him there.

I don't think it's fair to anyone else to keep a guy one round before.
